Terrible experience with both the Sales Department and with the Service Department. The salesman and service department managers do not return phone calls or respond to emails. We ended up buying two new with the Service Department. The salesman and service department managers do not return phone calls or respond to emails. We ended up buying two new vehicles elsewhere due to their lack of interest in the customer. I would highly urge buyers to steer clear of Auto Nation Ford Amherst. More
Bought my car at another Ford dealership and used their service department once as I didn’t care for the attitude of intake personnel. Switch all my service to AutoNation and have had exemplary experience service department once as I didn’t care for the attitude of intake personnel. Switch all my service to AutoNation and have had exemplary experience and service from when I first walk in the door till I exit with my car which has always been fixed the first time. Can’t say enough good things about the people employed by AutoNation, Amherst, Oh. Only downfall was not having a rental car availability and I have the Premium warranty from Ford that I paid for in good faith that this warranty would be honored. More

I believe I have been taken advantage of by AutoNation. Their service rep claimed that I told her that my battery had been failing for awhile and that I’d had it jumped several times. This is not true, the Their service rep claimed that I told her that my battery had been failing for awhile and that I’d had it jumped several times. This is not true, the car stopped and seized up while moving and I’d never had battery problems. I have initiated a customer service complaint with Ford regarding this incident. I’ve been buying cars from this dealer for over thirty years, never again. More
