I have been very disappointed with the calls and emails and text messages and physical mail for auto warranty options for Auto Nation. No means no Guys i came in for a security update and a oil change. 135$ oil change was painful enough without being given an option to say ,not get the tire rotation as part of it . I understand escondido hyundai is independently operated. They are our next destination. please again take us off your call, mail, email list for extended warranty options. Its very annoying and unprofessional much like your check in procedures leaving people backed up in the lot with no help More
Just terrible service. Brought my Santa Fe in for routine service with 12:00 appointment and was told 3:00 hours. No information from them so I returned at 3:00, service person said he had to go into a meeting. AN HOUR LATER he comes out and it turns out nothing had been done to the car! Now it’s 4:00 on a Friday and a wasted day. Going elsewhere in future. A shame because I bought two good cars there but will never go back. The “meeting “ was called by the GM who would not send anyone out to deal with me or the other 3 people trying to get their cars. More
My last experience with this dealership was the WORST customer experience I’ve had anywhere, ever. Cars were lined up at the entrance for HOURSS. After three hours of waiting I found my parked behind a customer experience I’ve had anywhere, ever. Cars were lined up at the entrance for HOURSS. Alexis did a great job listening to me when I took my car in. He said I needed to leave my car so he got me anUber home and back when I came to pick it up. The only complaint I have is that no one tells you your oil needs to be changed every 8,000 miles instead of 3 or 5,000 so all of the sudden you are done. They don’t tell you when you keep getting it done at 5,000 you’re just all of the sudden done. Kind of false advertising in my opinion. More

Was very disappointed with my recent experience with the service visit I had. Did not hear back after almost 2 weeks. Had to place a call to the manager of the dealership. I was treated with great kindness. The estimated time to install the security upgrade was approximately 90-120 minutes. At some point everyone seem to disappear (lunch breaks) and I was told there was a meeting. After 2 hrsI asked a man if he could tell me the status of my vehicle. He disappeared for about 25 minutes. I had requested information about parts for both the driver and passenger seats, part numbers and pricing. This was not addressed nor has anyone followed up with said information. I visited the parts department and ordered a cargo cover and asked about the seat parts. I was kindly told a technician has to look up the part numbers, so the parts department personnel can order the correct parts. Crickets! Nobody has called me with this information. The staff was polite and respectful, but short handed to my notion. The city of Carlsbad is a money town, lots of tourism. I’m surprised that Corporate Hyundai doesn’t see the need to better staff this dealership. I was there for my scheduled appointment on Friday August 11, 2023. Today is Tuesday the 15th. I’m sadly disappointed. More

I called to make an appointment and to replace my battery as my car needed a jump the week prior. Was told I needed to call parts dept. Left a message, no call back.. i called the next day and the person actedike I was an idiot for calling. Went in for appointment on the 31st. Was told my battery was fine which is ridiculous as it needed a jump earlier that month On the 8th my battery died AGAIN. I called service dept who stated they had no battery in stock and I should go to Escondido. I stated that was unacceptable as they were at fault and wanted to speak to service manager. As of today.. NOONE has called back. I paid Triple A $205 for new battery which I believe was under warranty I will never set foot in this dealership again after 6 years of having all work done here. More
