DAY BEFORE SERVICE I WAS CALLED AND TOLD THAT THEY NO LONGER SERVICE GENESIS AT THE DEALERSHIP. I WAS TOLD A LETTER WAS SENT OUT BUT NEVER RECEIVED. AFTER COMPLAINING ENOUGH THEY CHANGED THEIR TUNE AND LONGER SERVICE GENESIS AT THE DEALERSHIP. I WAS TOLD A LETTER WAS SENT OUT BUT NEVER RECEIVED. AFTER COMPLAINING ENOUGH THEY CHANGED THEIR TUNE AND KEPT MY SERVICE APPOINTMENT. THE SERVICE WAS PAID BY ME SO IT WAS A ROUTINE 22,500 MILE MAINTENANCE. THIS WHOLE DEAL WAS HANDLED LESS THAN SATISFACTORY. More
I purchased my car at this dealership when it was North County Hyundai, and had it serviced there and also when it became Bob Baker. Good and Bad with new AutoNation group. Good: new Service Advisor Andrew was nice, helpful, and professional and he'd even found a recall item on my car that had never come up when I was checking recall items with my VIN. All other service/mechanics staff great as well. Water bottles were once again offered in the lobby; there was also coffee and hot water (but I didn't see tea?). Bad: When I'd tried booking oil change service, I didn't know about the recent ownership change. No one answered the phone, it just kept going through menu/voice mail xxxx. Eventually I was able to book online via AutoNation's new website. I tried calling a day or two before my appointment just to confirm that the website booking had gone through. Again, no one answered the phone, even though I'd tried a couple of numbers listed. Luckily the website appointment was correct. The service dept has always been busy, but this was the first time it took 2 hours to get an oil change - it used to be done in an hour; hour and a half at the most. Also, previously you would receive a text message from the advisor so you could communicate if you had questions, status, etc., but there were no texts this time. In the waiting area, bathroom didn't have soap at the sink or toilet paper in one of the stalls and very little in the other one. I realize this is a new ownership group and it'll take time to work the bugs out. More

I had trouble booking an appointment, they're booked 3 months out so the car was way overdue when I finally got in. The appointment was fast (oil change and air in the tires) so we were out in way less th months out so the car was way overdue when I finally got in. The waiting room was freezing, but there was coffee and places to sit and work. More
The customer experience once in store, was good. My car was completed in a timely manner. However, I tried for a month to get a live person on the phone to make my appointment, I never got anyone!! I went through parts, sales, just trying to get connected to someone, and left 2 messages, and an email, no one ever responded. You can book service appointments online, when I originally started the process it said “call service, there is no appointments for 30 days”. Which was why I was trying to reach someone. In the end, I was able to book online, my appointment went good, and the staff was nice. I found the process prior to the appointment very frustrating. More
Previous owner of dealership provided coffee and television for customers while they sat for over an hour waiting for their auto to be serviced. I had a good experience with my recent service, which was for scheduled service for my leased vehicle, and to perform a safety recall part upgrade. My rep, Alexis, was friendly and helpful. The check-in process took a little longer than normal due to the reps learning a new software system after the transition to AutoNation. Since I work in the software industry, I get it and didn't mind waiting a couple of minutes while they finished processing the customers ahead of me. The work on my car was finished the same day. I got the call at 4:30 pm and the service dept closes at 5 pm, but Alexis assured me that if I ended up in traffic and couldn't arrive right at 5 pm, he would wait. The car was returned to me sparkling clean from a wash. More
Service was extremely slow. ..no details given about the service diagnosis...no option to get a Lyft somewhere other than to the local mall...very difficult to get someone to ans ..no details given about the service diagnosis...no option to get a Lyft somewhere other than to the local mall...very difficult to get someone to answer the phone or return an email...I understand they are very busy and backed up, but they just aren't meeting expectations, much less going the extra mile. They gave me half off the price to get it diagnosed, but I definitely won't be going back to this dealership! Compared to the nearby Kia service center, it's night and day difference. More

Vehicle DEAD and needs $15,000 in repairs at ONLY 40k MILES from a problem the service center caused and they won't cover it. INSANITY! Never buy a vehicle here and never buy a Hyundai. Engine died at 40,000 miles and they want $15,000 for a new engine. Craziest part is that it's a known recall and they still denied it. Even crazier, is the car was in for an inspection of this problem 2 months ago, no problem found so they installed a "patch" 2 weeks later the problem occurs, vehicle completely dead at 40k and they are denying the claim. On a problem they clearly caused. Why anyone would buy this junk is beyond me. Luckily we have 3 other cars so we aren't forced to give these crooks a dime. Extra sad because we were days away from exchanging this for one of their new EV but looks like I'll be getting another Tesla instead. More
