BMW of Macon - Service Center

PVC Heater Recall I was notified of the recall and parts were available. I made the appointment and arrived about 10 minutes early. I was promptly checked in and within I was notified of the recall and parts were available. I made the appointment and arrived about 10 minutes early. I was promptly checked in and within minutes my car was taken back. The repair was about 2hours fifteen minutes. The waiting room is excellent. All I expected was a place to sit and a tv. I was surprised. The chairs were comfortable, there was a place to plug in your devices including the cables, free coffee, sodas and snacks. BMW May be the ultimate driving machine, but BMW of Macon Service Department is the ultimate service department. Thanks More

Poor communication My car was picked up at 9am for regular service-a loaner was left (the main reason this review is not worse) At 3:30pm I called to check on the statu My car was picked up at 9am for regular service-a loaner was left (the main reason this review is not worse) At 3:30pm I called to check on the status. Was told someone would call me back. At 5 pm I called back and was told it would not be done until the next day due to a computer problem. Th next day I was called at 1:00pm and told that the car was done and wanted to know if they could drop it off. My wife was at a dr appt so I told them that they would have to wait until 4pm. The dealer rep said that 4 might not work for them and it might be the next day. I explained that since they kept my car an extra day, 4pm would have to work. Eventually I wa directed to someone who agreed to swap them out that day but it might be later than 4pm. I expect BMW to communicate better. I paid for the vehicle AND service reputation of BMW but was less than impressed. As I stated without the valet option this would have been a lower score. More
