Took my Mercedes Benz GLS 450 to this location and had the absolute worst experience ever. After paying over $1000 for breaks and a hose, I picked up my car only to find that they broke my vent on the top the absolute worst experience ever. After paying over $1000 for breaks and a hose, I picked up my car only to find that they broke my vent on the top dashboard of my car. I contacted my service provider Wes Dhaouahira, who told me that he will get the part ordered for my next appointment for tires and an alignment. Well, today I get a call from Wes saying they aren't going to fix it and they didn't do it. I asked to speak with the General Manager and it got so much worse. Pierre Renault was the absolute worst to deal with. He basically told me that the service people who fixed the car didn't break it, it was the car detailers that work for Mercedes Benz that broke it by cleaning your dashboard. And the vents are so fragile from sitting in the sun light that it was going to do that anyway. So no, we are not going to fix it because it costs $4, 200 to fix. He was super unprofessional and lacked accountability. I am cancelling my next appointment with them which would have been $1,700 because I am not giving them money to break my car and refuse to fix it. These businesses lack accountability, especially when you can admit that one of your workers broke it, but because it's too expensive to fix you refuse to do what is right. They won't see me again until we meet in court. More
I recently brought my 2021 Mercedes GLE 350 into Baker to have it serviced and I was SUPER impressed with the service I received from my new service advisor, Ricky! So impressed that I knew I needed to jump have it serviced and I was SUPER impressed with the service I received from my new service advisor, Ricky! So impressed that I knew I needed to jump on here and write it publicly! Ricky was incredibly friendly and professional, answered ALL of my questions (and I had A LOT), texted me with updates as my car was being serviced, chatted with me after the service to explain what all was done and helped explain when to schedule future services! I left feeling like I had an advocate in the service department, which was SUCH a nice feeling! Ricky, thank you for your excellent service! Baker did a great thing when they hired you! More

Don’t expect a phone call back from these people. Called about a truck yesterday morning and I still haven’t heard back from anyone. I guess they don’t like to make sales! Called about a truck yesterday morning and I still haven’t heard back from anyone. I guess they don’t like to make sales! More
Called to schedule a service. Was told it was covered under warranty. I asked the amount of the service if I were to pay. Was quoted $775. Went in today and was told that it was not covered and it was no under warranty. I asked the amount of the service if I were to pay. Was quoted $775. Went in today and was told that it was not covered and it was now $1178. Worth the drive to Columbia. Service manager is a jerk. More

I have sold my Mercedes and simply need a release of lien or a clean title. When the car was paid off I received nothing until I made calls requesting a release of lien. I got a letter, but not a release of lien that SC Hwy Dept would honor. When I went to Baker to obtain a release of lien, the the title inquiry did not indicate the lien was satisfied. The financial manager promised that he would overnight the release of lien and here it is 5 days later and I have not received anything. This is sub-par service. I am 80 years old and don't need this run-around because of the inability of others to their job. If this situation is solved promptly and professionally, I may change my rate. But right now, I would never recommend doing business with these folks. Be blessed as you shop elsewhere. More
I had to give them a star so that I could write a review. They definitely should take customer service lessons from Mercedes Benz of Cincinnati. I will not purchase a car from them nor recommend them. I am They definitely should take customer service lessons from Mercedes Benz of Cincinnati. After car being in shop for a week, we were finally told that ac condensate line was improperly installed. This caused the inside of vehicle to flood. After getting little to no communication from Baker and Mercedes we were told parts were on order but had no idea as to when they would arrive. Instead of pursuing the lemon law, we agreed to a new car that we picked up last week. New vehicle has 187 miles on it, and started shaking. Again, we are told they don’t know the cause, and again my paid for car is in the shop. From sales to service to management there is is little to no communication internally and externally. More
Overpriced even for Mercedes We’ve driven various Mercedes since 1980 and both E and M classes since 2000. Mercedes service always seems expensive but that’s the price you pay to own these excellent vehicles. We recently established a presence in this area and our 2017 E300 required a 24 month B1 service. We were charged $600 for essentially an oil change and cabin filter change. The Mercedes dealer in our home state reviewed the Baker invoice and stated their comparable B1 service would be $440. End of experiment, we will stick with our original Mercedes dealership for service. Free loaner, friendly employees, good work sure but that's the Mercedes standard anywhere. More
