This review is ZERO stars, which reflects the most unethical and suspect behavior I’ve ever seen from a Car Dealer and Service Department. My Uncle bought a 2014 Jeep Wrangler in 2014, brand new off the lot, and purchased the extended warranty. He was an elderly man, who did not drive more than 50 miles per week. When he did in August unexpectedly, he only had 12,800 miles on it. I inherited the jeep and found that the ABS light was going on suddenly and brought it in for service. Was informed there were over $4,000 worth of repairs; including new breaks and extensive engine repairs) and that the warranty couldn’t be used because my uncle passed away; cancelling the warranty. When I asked to talk to a manager, they refused. Upon picking up the vehicle, it now sounds like there is water swimming every time I start it, and the engine is barely starting. I highly recommend you not purchase anything of service anything through these crooks. More
Just left after picking up Pacifica with a warranty claim. We had some back and forth with the service manager Dan Norton. He was very condescending and accusatory. There was no de-escalation on his claim. We had some back and forth with the service manager Dan Norton. He was very condescending and accusatory. There was no de-escalation on his part, even though I attempted more than once to settle the situation down. He was still yelling at us as we walked out! I actually called his cell phone and apologized for how we parted. But, I can't even give the dealership a rating of 1-star (even though I had to to post this) based on how he treated us. I believe the service writer and the mechanic were very customer friendly. My apologies to them. But, the Barnett's need to send Dan to some training in de-escalation. In my profession escalating things like Dan did would result in an Internal Affairs Investigation, if you get my drift. I offered a suggestion for Dan to verify the problem was with a tire(s), but he so worked up he refused and told us he never wanted to see us again. Nice customer service there. Beware when dealing with Barnett Chrysler, and specifically Service Manager Dan Norton. More

There was good until I came back with a problem after they had done the diagnostic for the suspension Granted my car does have some damage done to it in an accident over the winter that is being fixed I decided to just speak with the service manager just to get to the point quicker about my issue when my car was brought in one of the headlamps worked perfectly one headlight bulb did not work. I knew this , when I was driving home from work that same day after having my diagnostic done, my headlamp no longer worked I expressed his concern to the service manager, and he completely blamed me immediately and told me that in his exact words that my car was effed up and it’s my fault Spoke to me in the very callous manner as if I was a lower life or would you probably may have thought me being a black man with dreadlocks after several minutes of going back-and-forth he actually offered to replace the bulb that was in the headlamp that I said worked. I said OK sat down in my car. He came back within 10 minutes and said no he’s not doing anything because it cost $250 for a bulb. I know for a fact after looking on the Mopar website that the bulbs do not cost 250 but if you do come to Barnett or any jeep dealership, they have a mark up on their parts on low power parts so it’s gonna cost you more. I knew that walking in the door. I also knew how expensive it would be to get my car fixed. Also had planned to get some thing finance so that I can get my car fixed at the dealership that is done correctly I have never in my life been treated by a repair shop like this even by a manager I’ve been things have happened but they made an attempt to fix it . He made no attempt. He basically told me F you and get out. Now I’m a find a way to get my car fixed somewhere else at whatever price you may be because I was treated like a piece of crap by a man who I have no idea who is don’t even know his name. I feel like I would’ve actually still gotten it fixed if he would’ve gave me the ball because they would’ve showed an effort to make right or wrong that I believe they had accidentally done. I told him multiple times that I didn’t believe anyone had done anything on purpose or something it happened maybe on accident anything can happen.I just asked to know what the new problem was I can’t even drive my car at night. Worst parts and service experience I've ever experienced in my life. I have a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee with lifetime warranty. The front passenger seat belt retractor stopped working - so a MAJOR safety issue - seat belt doesn't work at all. I took it into Barnett for the warranty repair - after 2 hours they tell me, "Yes, it's covered under warranty, we have to order the part". I have been waiting since January 17th, 2022 for a seat belt retractor. I'm not sure if they are only selling them or don't want to work on warranty items - after many calls, and many times being told the part will be in next week, in 2 weeks, yada yada - September 14, 2022 - told again, part won't be in until 9/29 - so over 9 months to get a part. I decide to call around and find one in Roseville, scheduled the repair for next week. So, Barnett and your supply chain issue excuse is a bunch of garbage. Barnett will never, ever get any of my business ever again - I have purchased 4 jeeps in my life - 1 from Barnett - but I will never buy or give any Barnett any of my business ever - and I will let anyone I know how terrible this business is. Customer Service is a no go here! When the inspection was completed, they said that the car was in good condition and that they tightened a radiator clamp and filled the coolant, they never mentioned the noise and I forgot about it as well but called them right back and asked and I was told they were unable to recreate the noise and that it may have been from low coolant and that it would need brakes in about 10,000 miles. Okay, I know nothing about cars so this was acceptable to me, sounds right. I get the Jeep back and the noise is still there and louder so long story short I bring it back to where I bought it and they found it was a bad transmission along with a couple of other things. I paid 164.00 for an inspection I thought would include everything- testing codes, driving it to check for noises or anything abnormal, and testing in general- Battery, alternator.... I figured it would get a work up. I complained to Barnett to figure out what kind of inspection my Jeep had because clearly is was a basic inspection and even visual things were missed, like the battery (they makes it a green, good.... I knew it needed a new one due to corrosion, but they didn't know I knew that, First red flag I guess). Once I complained, Barnett fired back with 3 very different response's - a visual inspection, a visual safety inspection and a full on inspection with a test drive- this one was verbal. On my invoice under the description of why I was there is says a complimentary inspection was done- filling of fluids, checking tires.. etc and a visual inspection of the overall vehicle.. why does it say this? what did you charge me for?? I have called and emailed Bill Love Service Manager- he refuses to talk to me anymore because I told him I wouldn't trust their employee's with my vehicle anymore- they offered a partial refund so I went in to get it and I had paperwork from everything that was found- Bill refused to talk to me or see the paperwork. I have never been treated so horribly in my life. Customer Service is not a priority, I have even contacted Jack the general manager by phone and email and no response. Please do not go here for any service- they are happy to take your money but fail to deliver services correctly- if they make a mistake they won't own up to it, they even told me I didn't ask for my car to have a test drive and I also didn't tell them the transmission was bad.. How am I suppose to know that the noise I heard was the transmission? isn't that your job? If i could self diagnose noises then I can 100 percent say that I would not have needed an inception on my car. Please, please, please do not get your car serviced here, I promise you it will save you a giant headache. if Bill Love or Angie take care of you, RUN!! More
Bad service I was treated very poorly, the only reason I can see is that I'm Latino. They didn't want to help me since the moment I walked at their door.
