I have always had a great experience with Baxter in general but my experience purchasing from Baxter VW has been great. This time I purchased a used Tesla Model Y, trading in my VW ID.4 ev. Caleb was k general but my experience purchasing from Baxter VW has been great. This time I purchased a used Tesla Model Y, trading in my VW ID.4 ev. Caleb was knowledgeable and experienced with both vehicles; understanding the nuances to owning an ev and the benefits of making the switch to a Tesla. I greatly appreciate how easy and efficient the process was and am thankful I was able to continue working with Baxter on this next vehicle. More

My family and I have driven only Volkswagens since 2013. We have purschased or leased 12 Volkswagens in 12 years all from Baxter. This averages out to one vehicle per year all from Baxter. Because of this business relationship I took my 2019 Jetta S with 30,000 miles to Baxter VW LaVista for a purchase offer The sales director I spoke with gave me a low-ball offer of $11,000.00 and gave me a song and dance that the vehicle did not have heated seats and it had $800 in hail damage and no one would pay more than Baxter VW LaVista. In reality, everyone in town I got purchase offers from offered more than Baxter VW LaVista. I had offers of $12,000, $13,000, $13,300, and $13,500 all in town. In fact, Baxter VW Omaha offered $13,000 for the vehicle and told me that Baxter VW LaVista’s offer was light. I told Baxter LaVista this and they said they would match the other. Like I would sell it to them now. If they had given me a fair offer initially I would have sold them the vehicle. but I knew they low balled me. This how I get treated after 12 VW’s from Baxter in 12 years. I will deal with Baxter Omaha but not the LaVista location. I sold the vehicle to Carvana for $14,400 even though the LaVista location told me no one would pay more than their $11,000 offer. Carvana paid $3400 more. I should thank the LaVista location for the low offer because it caused me to keep looking for a better offer, which I easy found because everyone offered more than Baxter VW LaVista. Baxter VW LaVista has lost my business after 12 years and 12 Volkswagens from Baxter. More
