I was really hoping that the new ownership would clean up a service department that's beyond poor. Unfortunately, as of today, that's not the case. This is the closest Ford dealership to my home. I purchased a service department that's beyond poor. Unfortunately, as of today, that's not the case. This is the closest Ford dealership to my home. I purchased multiple brand-new diesel pickups from them. Yesterday my truck threw a check engine light. This morning I went to the dealership (after calling multiple times with no answer from service) with the diagnostic trouble code in hand, along with Ford's technical service bulletin and the part number of the sensor that needed to be changed. I spoke to Jason in service who told me that I'd need to pay a $200 diagnostic fee before he could tell me anything. I explained that I had all the info, and was looking for a budgetary price to complete the TSB. he responded (without looking at anything) $1500, and we're booked out 3 weeks. I laughed and said the part is $250 and the TSB states is a 0.6 hour job. He said that's warranty time and it will take us at least 2 hours...Not sure how 2 hours and a $250 part comes to $1500, but I'd had enough. I went to the parts counter purchased the part for $250 and changed it myself in 35 minutes. I have no doubt if I were a little old lady, or someone who didn't have the skills to diagnose and repair this myself, they would have gladly charged me $1500 for a repair that could have been under $500. This is the type of poor customer service that made me abandon this dealership 3 year ago. Back then it was a steering sensor with a DTC and TSB, that cost $150 to replace and they tried to charge my wife over $2000 for a whole new steering column. I was hoping that new ownership would have corrected the greasy tactics but I guess it hasn't. Buyer and customer beware, these guys are more than willing to overcharge you for simple repairs. More
Very rude and poor attitude Stephanie was extremely rude to me. When I asked for an oil change she was very short and rolled her eyes, made comments under her breath. I felt as if I was burdening her. to me. When I asked for an oil change she was very short and rolled her eyes, made comments under her breath. I felt as if I was burdening her. More
