First Time Dealing with Bob Boyte Honda This was the easiest and fastest car deal I have ever negotiated! I have bought several vehicles out of town and this was the first time everything w This was the easiest and fastest car deal I have ever negotiated! I have bought several vehicles out of town and this was the first time everything was ready to go when I arrived at the dealership to pick up the vehicle. I actually made the offer by text and coordinated an OTD price with Greg (Chicago) without the "if you come in we can work with the manager to get your price". When I arrived the car was ready (Outside detailed and parked under the cover). Also Chicago met me at the dealership on his day off just to make sure everything was okay. After a quick walk around and test drive, I walked back in and the papers were ready (kudos to Kendall). During the short wait, several of the employees spoke to me and all were very cordial and polite. In and out in about an hour. Bob Boyte Honda is truly an Internet dealer! After driving home, I noticed something on the car that I missed while at the dealership. A quick call and the dealership agreed to correct the issue with no discussion. However, when I delivered the car for the repair, slightly different event. Make sure you do a thorough inspection, even on certified cars. NEW TIRES (in all bold and asterisks in the online description) means original 22K tires with a lot of tire shine. My fault for not verifying. Anyway took it back in for an oil change and to fix the third brake light (yes it was supposed to be certified so I assumed everything was good but front tires were rounded, oil life was 60% and cover was hanging on brake light when I got it) and it took 5 hrs (oil change, tire rotation, fix cover on third brake light). They did waive the cost of the oil change and tire rotation without asking for any favors because it took so long. Bottom line, just because the description says something and it is certified doesn't mean it is like new. Also the level of friendliness was down a little. Not bad, but none of the sales folks engaged in conversation and one of the service attendees obviously had better things to do but... . More

I had the pleasure of having Freddie as the person who showed me the vehicles and answered my questions (I had many -- I was going from a car to a minivan). He made me feel comfortable and confident in what I was looking for in a vehicle and the functions I would be able to utilize in the Odyssey vs. competitor brands. After borrowing the vehicle overnight, I was able to see that it fit the garage perfectly, how it handled, and how all the displays worked at night. I was unfamiliar with the second and row seating and how the seats moved and folded -- Freddie demonstrated everything and was easy to follow. It was also rare to find someone who had a birthday so close to mine, including the birth year. That's not a deal maker / breaker but it is a cool coincidence! More
