We went up Thurs night spent a few hours talking to a sales rep. After 8pm we asked if we should come back tomorrow so they can go home seeing they were closed. They assured us it wasn’t a problem they stay late all the time. It was the end of the month and a great time to get a deal. So we stayed for almost another hour. At that point the guy walks out and tells us he can’t get through to the bank to get an answer and that they would reach out tomorrow (Friday) morning. After awhile, and no word from them we reached out only to be told that the sales floor was really busy and if it slows down they will look into it and they will get back either that night or Saturday. Still no word from them… the sales guy was nice (but that’s their job right, to get a deal). They talked about how they are a family business and care about their customers… I guess this falls back to the saying, “actions speak louder than words”. Even if it wasn’t a huge sale, there should have been some level of decency to reach out and be honest and forward. That lack of truth speaks volumes about a company and how they will handle situations moving forward. I would beware of dealing with them if you’re thinking of buying a car. They most definitely do NOT keep their word. More
I found a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD LTZ DRW online at a reasonable price. I liked the truck, and we started talking about price and a trade-in I had. When we reached an agreement, I asked him about the Certified Used Car warranty offered by all Chevrolet dealers, which the dealer's website clearly stated was included. He told me that the manager had informed him that the website wasn't updated and that they didn't offer that warranty because it would have to raise the price. But he told me not to worry because they were going to give me an additional 4,500 warranty. We got off to a bad start because the website didn't specify that. But he told me he'd speak with the manager to lower the price or give me more money for my trade-in to compensate. I agree, and I fill out all my information for the loan. I tell him I'm waiting for him to tell me the truck is approved to leave for the dealership because it's over an hour away. He tells me that my loan is being paid and that he'll let me know shortly. I wait two hours, and I write to him, but he doesn't answer. At 7:45 p.m., he replies that they had sold the truck. I tell him it's disrespectful to tell me something like that after they've paid the loan. And he replies that another person arrived and paid the full price, and they sold it to him. What kind of commitment is it? While closing a deal with someone who's already paying the loan, they sell it to someone else because I paid more. This dealer has no professionalism. I asked to speak to the manager and was left waiting. I imagine this reviewer will respond soon. I'm sorry if I should call him back, because apparently they only offer to speak with those who give him bad reviews. It's the worst sales experience I've ever had with a dealer, and the least professional and most deceitful person I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. More

Show up to find out it was just to speak to an advisor and was told it was going to be a few hours before someone looked at my truck. 2 1/2 went by my truck was still not even moved in the lot to be looked at. Spoke to the service manager and he stated that they still had 4 vehicles from the day before that hasn’t even been looked at. Red 🚩 so I asked for a loaner vehicle since I just come out from out of town. Can’t do that due to a 3rd party warranty ok you will have to pay for a rental car whatever not a big deal. 9 1/2 hours later at 430 I received a call that my truck was looked at and couldn’t find a problem they close at 5 so a hole day and went by and finally get to look at it. 130 Wednesday I received a call we found a problem then hour later not that part it’s another part we summited a claim with the warranty we will have to over night the part cool Thursday I call at 430 he’s still working on fixing it. I explained I have to leave Friday morning vacation is over still no care in the world. I received a call at 830 Friday morning they are done. Needless to say if you want a reliable dealership that takes care of the customer that don’t over book service work and can’t complete a 4 hour job that was listed on my work order sheet in a timely manner don’t go here. Would not recommend this service facility to even change a bike tire for the simple fact it probably won’t have a check engine code on it to tell them what needed fix since common sense doesn’t exist anymore. Also while being there a older lady “customer”saw my frustration and asked me what are you here for I said service she said well I hope you got a few hours to waste I’ve been coming here for a long time and this place in the past 2 yrs has gone down hill fast. Don’t get jacked around by this dealership like I did and save some time and go elsewhere More
Dealer website showed a 2024 Silverado High Country (demo) for sale. Stock: 240129 VIN: 1GCUDJELXRZ171488. When I enquired to buy this truck, I was told, "This truck isn't for sale, It belongs to the (demo) for sale. Stock: 240129 VIN: 1GCUDJELXRZ171488. When I enquired to buy this truck, I was told, "This truck isn't for sale, It belongs to the owner of the dealership. But, we have some brand new ones in route". I don't appreciate dishonest business practices like this. This is click bait false advertising. You tell Bob Steele he can keep his demo and all the rest of his vehicles too. I'll take my business elsewhere. More

We purchased our Chevrolet Travers from Bob Steele and take it there for service. I made and appointment for servive to have the wheel alignment for 9:00AM on May 31, 2024. We arrived at 8:45AM and was told it would take an hour or two. At noon I as if my vehicle was finished since I saw it parked near the garage. I was told they had not got to it yet. When I ask to speak to the service manage and I ask why we make an appointment I was told that was so we could meet service advisor. I would not recommend Bob Steele if you expect service advisors to communicate with you. This is not the first time I have been disappointed with the service after the sale.at Bob Steele Chevrolet. I let management know in writing and have never heard one word! I directed my concern to Mr Olson by email. More
Bought a 2022 Santa Cruz and several sensors broke On Way Home. They passed the buck and sent me to a closer dealer. They cherry pick the rare good reviews from this website and post them on their own - completely misrepresenting what buyers say. Please shop elsewhere - don’t let prices or their smiling faces fool you - they just want you to sign - and then good luck. More

When I bought the new car i paid for some add on which one of them is a car rental, they never offered me. I am elderly woman with health issues and left me without a car or a way back to pick up my car. I had a doctor's appointment but now I can't make it on account of service techs at bob Steele. They just have excuses. Also, they never found the problem I am having with my vehicle that I bought 5 months ago NEW! The service rep Sage was useless. He knew I was calling him but never answered. What is wrong with customer service now days?? I will never buy another Chevy or go there again. Warning to you. I believe the Sales and service dept are in cahoots together in being deceitful, shame on them. What a bad experience! Oh, the reason I went to bob Steele in the first place on account they had a sale ad for a malibu but after i got there they said it was a mistake. hmm.. I am elderly woman and felt I was pressured to buying a more expensive car and with problems they don't fix. Very deceitful dealership. Their rating at BBB is really awful and very bad reviews on dealerrater.com and Facebook. I wished I would have looked them up before buying there. ah 28 hours later finally got my car.
