My Review of Brandywine Porsche:
I bought a used 997 C2S in february. I live in Ottawa and could not go look at the car before buying it. The vendor explained to me how to export a car to Canada and did the modification to pass the safety check in canada( Daytime running lights and speedo in KM). The car was delivered at the border in time without a scratch or dent. The price was also excellent. Overall, this experience was perfect.

My Review of Brandywine Porsche:
Please see http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=14894 for a complete explanation. Bottom line is they lied and told me repeatedly that an engine had been ordered when in fact it had not been. Their lies cost me a considerable amount of time, money, and aggravation.

My Review of Brandywine Porsche:
This place is absolutely terrible when it comes to getting any repairs done on your Porsche, as they have the worst mechanics around. I took my 92' Roadster there for several reasons- one of the side mirrors had fallen off and I couldn't get it back in, an oil change, the engine light was on, and it would routinely not start up. So $2500 later, the mirror fell out again on my way home from getting it fixed, the engine light was back on the very next day, and the next morning the car wouldn't start. I'm surprized they managed to change the oil properly!
After much frusteration, I took the car to a local used-car dealership that I noticed had some porsche's in their lot. They were not only incredibly friendly, but they fixed my mirror permanently, fixed whatever was keeping the check engine light on, did my yearly inspection, did an oil change and replaced my battery (which Brandywine Porsche had done too, but the car still would not start when they replaced it!), all for $400. I have not had any problems with the car since and it now runs like a dream.
So please, if you own a Porsche and need some services, DO NOT take it to Brandywine Porsche! Check out some other dealers or individually owned places first (there are a lot of good places that specialize in German cars) because I honestly wouldn't even use Brandywine as a last resort. I would sell the car before letting them con me again.

My Review of Brandywine Porsche:
This is the second time I have used their service department and left with the feeling that I have been taken advantage of by them. The specific repair that is originally identified by them to correct the problem does not after performed, and another repair "is required" at significant cost to correct the original problem for wich service was requested. The service reps do not seem to have the knowledge to accurately identify the needed repair, and then when they call to advise you what they state is needed it feels like they are trying to reach some sort of quota for repairs. The more work the better (for them). I definitely do not recommend this dealership unless you know specifically what you want done and are not subject to a sales pitch for extra "needed service".
