My Review of Breakaway Honda:
We purchased our 2008 Honda Accord from Darryl Crockett. Mr. Crockett was very helpful and friendly throughtout the process (starting Thursday afternoon and completing Friday evening). Neither Mr. Crockett or anyone else made us feel pressured when we left Thursday evening even though we had not commited to the purchase at that time. When it was time to take care of things with the Finance Manager; Jack Schading was also wonderful to work with. He was very professional and efficient without making us feel uncomfortable in the least. We had visited Breakaway a couple years back to possibly buy a new car. The circumstances at that time were not such that we were able to make the purchase. However, we were treated with respect and dignity. Our time was not wasted and when we left we were not insulted - on the contrary we were convinced that when the time was right, this would be the dealership we would buy from. My husband and I have both purchased several vehicles previously and this has been by far the best car buying experience either of us has ever had. Although I had not owned a Honda before, my husband had and was very pleased with the cars performance and how well it held it's value. We expect nothing less with our new Accord. We would definately recommend this dealership for a person's car buying needs.

My Review of Breakaway Honda:
While enroute from our home in Atlanta to our daughter's home in North Carolina, the transmission in our faithful '98 Honda died as my wife was driving through Greenville. It was just about 5:00 pm. Ray and his support team stayed late and got my wife going again in a 2007 Civic. Although it was a stressful occasion for my wife, Ray's friendly assistance and professionalism came through. Now that the trip has been successfully completed, we love the new Honda and really appreciate Breakaway Honda's help in resolving the situation.

My Review of Breakaway Honda:
I recently bought an Accord from Christine Brunt. Most of the deal was done over the phone, which was very nice. Christine was very professional and yet personable and easy to deal with. The car was a surprise for my wife's birthday. When I brought her in to pick up the car, Christine made the experience perfect for her. She spent all the time that my wife needed showing her how to work the "bells and whistles".

I dealt with Christine Brunt over the Internet several times looking for a Honda Ridgeline and received a better price than I had previously gotten from a dealer closer to my home. It was worth the 60 mile drive to purchase my new Honda Ridgeline truck as Christine was pleasant to deal with and stuck with me as I struggled with the various accessories I wanted to add. She and Jack Schading who handled the remaining paperwork regarding warranties, etc., were both professional and courteous and did not try to exert pressure to make quick decisions involving my purchase. Overall, my experience was very positive and I would recommend this dealership to others.

WE shopped around for a new car -- Several car dealers and several car makes. We found the best deal and the best sales person at Breakaway Honda. David Hagan was and is a fine person to deal with.
All of our dealings so far have been fair and honest. We will continue to use Breakaway Honda for service.

David Hagan is a fantastic salesman. He handled everything with great professionalism and he is very knowledgeable. I would recommend him and Breakaway to anyone purchasing a Honda. The financing portion of buying the car was also easy and pleasant. We love our new Honda. They were also the best price around town. David did not pressure us at all. We feel like he will continue to provide us great service if we need anything in the future. We haven't had to have our car serviced yet, but I am sure that David will take care of us.

My Review of Breakaway Honda:
We visited Breakaway Honda following visits to other area dealers to look at a small SUV with good gas mileage. Our salesperson, Doug McAfee, met with us and demonstrated the CRV, its options and gave us info re the dealership. He went above the call of duty and was very accomodating. The dealership made us an excellent offer and we purchased the vehicle that day. The closing was very well organized and the customer service was outstanding. We felt like we were a guest in a friends home. The staff from the receptionist to each and every salesperson the the business/finance manager were very cordial and friendly. We found them to be very accomodating as we were paying cash and awaiting the electronic transfer of funds from our out of state bank to be received. Although the dealer said we could take the vehicle home that day, we elected to wait until the funds were received in our local bank prior to picking the vehicle up later. We picked up the vehicle 2 days later and it was ready and waiting for us. It had been cleaned thoroughly, all paperwork was ready and awaiting us. This was the most pain free vehicle purchase that we have ever made in over 40 years.

Kevin Ryan is fabulous. If you live in WNC, drive down to Greenville and go see Kevin if you need a Honda!!!! He was helpful, informative, and treated me with respect. I did not have this experience at Apple Tree Honda in Asheville, where two different salesman commented on the oddness of my arriving without my husband. Kevin worked with me in an honest and straightforward way...I've sent my mother to him for her next car. Everybody at the dealership was personable without treating me like the "little lady" trying to buy a car. I got a much! better price by driving down to South Carolina, and would definitely do it again. They made what had been a stressful nightmare relatively painless, and Kevin Ryan was definitely the integral part of the positive experience.

My Review of Breakaway Honda:
Purchased a 2008 Honda Civic from Breakaway Honda through the USAA buying service. A small but significant pricing error, in my favor, was made by our buying service. The dealer accepted it, no problem. I felt no sales pressure, no "double-talk" regarding pricing, warranty, financing or add-on features. Lifetime powertrain warranty was included in the price. Extended/suplemental coverage for towing/rental reimbursement/etc. was offered as an add-on, but again there was no pressure to sign up for them.
On arrival I was greeted quickly, shown just what I asked for, allowed a substantitive test drive and given a price in writing. I left for the day feeling little to no pressure to make a quick decision. The next day I came back and was in and out in an hour and a half from arrival time to driving off the lot with a new car and very favorable financing. There was a small low-pressure push to consider the dealer for future vehicle servicing, but I consider that pretty typical. I was very pleased with the experience.

By far the best car buying experience ever!!! I was looking for an Accord and had visited another Honda dealership, then my friend recommended Breakaway. I went to Breakaway and was amazed at the way my family and I was treated. Not only did they give the best deal(by $1,200.00) they also gave my an interest rate better than my credit union.This dealership should be at the top of eveyone's list.
