Review for Bryden Ford in Durand Illinois 112823 I contacted the service department because I needed to replace my dipstick tube. I purchased the part and decided it might be better to let a Ford dea contacted the service department because I needed to replace my dipstick tube. I purchased the part and decided it might be better to let a Ford dealership install it. I dropped off my vehicle on Sunday night November 12th. I never received a phone call or an estimate. I called them on November 14th nothing was done with my truck. On November 16th I stopped at the dealership and found the tube was rusted and they advised they needed to replace some bolts. Still no estimate. I contacted the service department on Tuesday November 21, they advised they were waiting for parts. Still no estimate no update on the status when I would see my truck. I called on Monday November 27, I was advised they needed to remove the oil pan, but it would be done on Tuesday. Still no estimate. Again, I called on Tuesday November 28th and they advised me it was being “buttoned up” and I could pick it up. When I arrived and received my bill, I was amazed how my job was done with $2,054.86 worth the labor and an additional parts and shop supplies bringing the total to $2,972.81 with one phone from them or an estimate. I WILL NOT BRING ANYTHING ELSE TO THEM EVER. I could have done the job myself for several thousand dollars less. The dealership is unprofessional, and they don’t know how to use the phone. I had no contact directly from them in 15 days they had my vehicle or any type of an estimate. I know parts fail but it costs them nothing to pick up the phone and keep a customer informed. I asked several times in a phone conversation if the truck was clean and good shape. The moon roof in the truck was also not working at all! They knew i was coming to look at the truck. Had the money in hand to the deal that they agreed upon on the phone. After all this they sit me down in the office and tell me they priced my current truck i was trading in wrong. The differance was another 3K They said they thought it was a Lariat! I gave them the VIN! You dont look it up before you shoot the customer a price!! Shame on YOU! I wasted 8hrs yesterday driving 4 hrs each way! Not even a follow up call or anything to say they are sorry. Stay away people they lie and are not up front! They said several times while i was pointing out the issues with this 2017 F250 Diesel for 60K... it is a used truck you know!!! Matt Boye More

Don’t waste your time at big city dealers!!!! Went to Rockford Ford and also Janesville Ford. They both knew nothing about F-250/350 trucks and how to spec them out based on my needs. They happened to have a 2016 F-350 that was a perfect fit for me! They provided a fair price on my trade in and fair selling price on my new truck. Deal was done in about an hour. Also met Scott Bryden the owner: honest people and easy to work with. No B.S. at this dealership!!!! More
