Should have known better to buy a vehicle from the beginning. Started with listing a used Toyota as Toyota gold certified then tell you they can not sell it with the certification then service mainten beginning. Started with listing a used Toyota as Toyota gold certified then tell you they can not sell it with the certification then service maintenance skipped prior to sale, list goes on. Does not follow Toyota recommended maintenance prior to selling vehicles. Only do bare minimum presale maintenance to cut corners/cost on the sale. I purchased Tundra with almost 42,000 miles. Buckeye Toyota sales Caleb and Frank assured me all bells and whistles service/maintenance were done before listing for sale which I asked for a copy of but was not told a tuneup was skipped. Took my truck to get serviced at 45,000 miles 3 months after purchase at my local dealership (not Buckeye) questioned why my truck did not have the 40,000 mile tune up done. Buckeye Toyota was in procession of this truck at 40,000-41,000 miles prior to me purchasing but chose to skip the 40,000 tune up which Toyota recommends to change the spark plugs every 40k miles. Buckeye Toyota will not give me an answer as to why that tune up service was not done prior to me purchasing the vehicles other than it’s a Toyota recommendation not requirement. I would be very careful buying anything from this dealership. I have got nothing but the run around since I inquired about the Tundra. More
I would stay clear of Buckeye Toyota. Selling used cars for top dollar but unwilling to perform critical maintenance. Why purchase a car and offer to perform the maintenance needed at you Selling used cars for top dollar but unwilling to perform critical maintenance. Why purchase a car and offer to perform the maintenance needed at your cost? Because they know it's needed? Newer car's engines will suffer severe damage when timing belts fail if not replaced according for manufacturer maintenance intervals. They should know this and perform all recommended maintenance, otherwise you might as well buy from a "buy here pay here". :( More
I have waited over a month to write this review of Buckeye Toyota in Lancaster, Ohio because I love their service department having my Tacoma serviced there and everyone is so nice and accommodating. Buckeye Toyota in Lancaster, Ohio because I love their service department having my Tacoma serviced there and everyone is so nice and accommodating. But this review is regard to the price they ask for their vehicles against the price of other Toyota Dealerships. The difference is so great that it warrants this review. I will just stick to the major facts to keep this short but I will enclose my email address in case you have any questions. On my last service appointment, I talked to a salesperson about trading my car because the lease was almost up. I got a price from him of $440.00 a month for a 42 month lease on a 2022 Tacoma Sport. I let him know I wanted a day to think about it. The very next day I went back to Buckeye Toyota and asked the sales manager to talk to my salesman to see if there could be any movement on the price and his exact words were..."we don't do that here". Meaning the price I was quoted was a 'take it or leave it' price. OK, I don't have a problem there, I just left and headed up North to Toyota Direct on Morse Rd. in Columbus. I talked to Cindy Strawn at Toyota Direct and settled on a Tacoma Sport that was coming in a few days and was within a couple hundred dollars of the Sport that Buckeye Toyota also had coming in, neither truck was in stock yet. Cindy and I settled on a price of $375 a month on the same 42 month lease. Now I don't know about you folks but that is a $65. a month difference and a total of almost $3,000. To me that is ridiculous price difference and to you folks that may consider buying a vehicle from Buckeye Toyota, do some shopping before you sign on the dotted line. My wife and I have lived in the Lancaster area for 45 years and two previous times that I have shopped for a Toyota, I went to Buckeye first and always ended up buying the vehicle from Toyota Direct. Do yourself a favor and save some money and shop other Toyota dealerships. If you do buy elsewhere, don't hesitate to use the service department at Buckeye because those folks are great. More
The dealership is very much out of the way for me, but the customer service is better, more organized, better communication, better reliability, the car selection is bigger, all in all, more professional the customer service is better, more organized, better communication, better reliability, the car selection is bigger, all in all, more professional than Tansky or Germain the two I usually frequent. Things went smooth and as expected, no complaints other than that they did not sanitize the car before giving it to me, there were still gummy bears and plastic straw under the driver seat. More

Although I have not yet decided to trade my present vehicle, I do want to mention somewhat concerning my wife's and my recent visit to this dealership. We were really surprised by the friendliness and vehicle, I do want to mention somewhat concerning my wife's and my recent visit to this dealership. We were really surprised by the friendliness and manner of presentation by this sales person. Straight forward answers on features, pricing, and comparison of selected vehicles in inventory. There was no high pressure sales pitch nor a feeling of compulsion to "get out of there". Wife and I were quite comfortable during our visit. We are presenting this review because the atmosphere at this dealership is very pleasing when compared to other dealers. I know because in the past I was a sales person at a local Chrysler dealership where various means of high pressure sales were exhibited and demanded. I didn't last long. Gribble's River Valley Motors, in our opinion, and impression, is highly worthy of anyones consideration when looking for a new or used vehicle to purchase.
