This is by far the worst car-buying experience I have ever had. First of all, I want to be very clear: my intention is not to disrespect any business. I am a business owner myself, and I have never tr ever had. First of all, I want to be very clear: my intention is not to disrespect any business. I am a business owner myself, and I have never treated a customer the way this dealership treated me. However, what I experienced here is completely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. I originally went to this Cadillac dealership to buy a Cadillac. While there, I saw a BMW X7, test drove it, liked it, and decided to purchase it. From the very beginning, I clearly informed the salesperson that the tires were badly worn and needed to be replaced. I was promised that the vehicle would stay at the dealership for 2–3 days, that all problems would be fixed, and that the car would be delivered fully inspected and safe. These promises were never kept. When I picked up the vehicle, it had multiple serious issues, including: • Loud and constant noise from the wheels • Noise from the suspension • Noise from the engine • Windshield/wind noise The car was clearly not properly inspected before delivery. When I returned to the dealership and reported these issues, I was told: “We are not BMW service. Take the car to BMW.” This response was shocking. A dealer should never sell a vehicle without ensuring it is safe, especially after I explained that I have two children and their safety is my top priority. I took the vehicle to BMW for a full inspection. BMW confirmed in writing that the tires must be replaced and that they were the source of the noise. I brought all official BMW inspection documents back to the Cadillac dealer. At that point, the dealership told me: “We also did our own inspection, and according to us, the tires do NOT need to be replaced.” So BMW says the tires must be replaced, the Cadillac dealer says they don’t. Everything is documented on paper, and I will be posting photos and inspection reports to support this review. Despite promising to take care of any problems, the dealership refused responsibility, contradicted BMW’s findings, and then demanded $2,000 from me to fix issues that clearly existed before delivery. They also promised me a $500 gift card for their mistakes, which I never received. Another broken promise. I made it very clear to them: “I do not want money or gift cards. I only want my car to be safe, properly repaired, and drivable.” They ignored this completely. Once they took my money and delivered the car, they stopped caring. No follow-up, no responsibility, no accountability. In my opinion, they do not know how to run a proper business. This is not how a professional dealership operates. The way they handle customers is extremely concerning and feels misleading. I am currently in contact with my attorneys, and this matter will be pursued further. This will not end here. I strongly DO NOT recommend this dealership to anyone. Please be extremely careful before doing business here. More
I experienced what I believe are bait-and-switch sales tactics at this dealership. I advise prospective buyers to exercise caution. The dealer had a specific stock unit advertised on their website at $ tactics at this dealership. I advise prospective buyers to exercise caution. The dealer had a specific stock unit advertised on their website at $118,310, with dealer discounts clearly itemized, and no stated customer rebates. Based on this, I initiated the sales process and provided my information to move forward. However, once the dealership learned that I qualified for customer rebates (from General Motors and from Costco), they increased the sales price to $121,000. My understanding is that they adjusted their "dealer contribution" to absorb the value of my rebates, effectively cancelling out any benefit to me. This contradicted the clearly advertised price, which made no mention of required customer rebates to achieve the posted price. When I stated I would complete the purchase if they honored the advertised price and applied my own incentives, they refused. Instead, they insisted that the price of $121,000 stood before customer rebates, even though this was not reflected anywhere on the website. To make matters worse, the following day the same vehicle was re-advertised at a lower price of $108,310, but again, the dealership refused to honor that price. I was told directly: “We don’t care what the website says, the sales price is $121,000 before any rebates.” This conduct was misleading and a poor reflection of fair business practices. In my opinion, this violates the spirit of honest pricing and transparency. More
I strongly advise exercising caution when dealing with this dealership. My experience was extremely disappointing and raised several concerns about their business practices. After agreeing to a deal ov this dealership. My experience was extremely disappointing and raised several concerns about their business practices. After agreeing to a deal over the phone for a vehicle, Nana confirmed the vehicle was sold to me and that the necessary paperwork would be sent shortly. Despite repeated follow-ups over several hours, the paperwork was never provided. Additionally, the dealership requested a $5,000 deposit and collected my credit card and personal information. Shortly afterward, I was contacted by a salesperson who informed me that the vehicle had been sold to another local buyer. Following this, my attempts to reach the dealership were ignored—calls from my number went unanswered, yet when I called from a different number, the call was picked up immediately. This suggests that my number was deliberately avoided. Based on this experience, I found the dealership’s conduct to be unprofessional and concerning. I recommend potential buyers proceed with extreme caution or consider alternative dealerships. More

I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration with the service provided by this Cadillac Dealer regarding my purchase of a vehicle intended for **commercial use**. The dealership’s re frustration with the service provided by this Cadillac Dealer regarding my purchase of a vehicle intended for **commercial use**. The dealership’s repeated failures and unprofessionalism have caused significant inconvenience, financial strain, and wasted time over the past **eight months**. 1. **Incorrect Registration**: I explicitly purchased the vehicle for **commercial purposes** and requested commercial registration. Despite this, the dealership irresponsibly registered it under a **personal license plate**, rendering the vehicle unusable for my business. This error alone demonstrates a blatant disregard for clear customer instructions. 2. **Empty Promises & Financial Burden**: After multiple visits to resolve the issue, your staff assured me that the dealership would **cover my monthly payments** until the commercial plate was processed. To date, **not a single payment has been made**, and I have been forced to bear the financial burden of a vehicle I cannot legally use for its intended purpose. This is a severe breach of trust. 3. **Eight Months of Delays & Neglect**: Despite countless follow-ups, the commercial plate has **still not been issued**. Your team has repeatedly ignored my calls, emails, and in-person requests for updates. This lack of accountability and transparency is unacceptable for a business representing a brand as reputable as Cadillac. **Demand for Immediate Resolution**: This situation has caused undue stress, lost business opportunities, and financial harm. I demand the following actions **within 7 business days**: - Immediate issuance of the correct **commercial license plate**. - Full reimbursement of **all monthly payments** made since purchase, as promised. - Compensation for the time, resources, and income lost due to your negligence. If these demands are not met promptly, I will escalate this matter to Cadillac Corporate, regulatory agencies, and pursue legal action to recover damages. I strongly advise potential customers to exercise extreme caution when dealing with this dealership. Their inability to fulfill basic commitments and disrespect for clients’ time and needs is inexcusable. Be careful everybody this dealership they are playing game. More
After some research, I found an XT4 with the options I wanted at Cadillac of South San Francisco. I submitted an information request that evening, and the next morning, Ahmad reached out. After a bit of b wanted at Cadillac of South San Francisco. I submitted an information request that evening, and the next morning, Ahmad reached out. After a bit of back and forth, I explained that I was out of state and looking to lease. Ahmad came back with an offer I couldn’t refuse. I made it clear to both him and the sales manager, Nicholas, that I wanted the car registered in my home state. Nicholas said that per California law, they had to register it in California first, but I could transfer it to my home state later if I wanted. Not ideal, but I agreed and told them I’d book a flight to pick up the car that evening. Of course, after I booked the flight, I got an email saying there was an issue with the registration. After more back and forth, they suggested that if I knew someone in California, I could register the car to their address—which would be illegal in both California (since I'm not a resident of the state) and my home state. Then, they tried to push financing the car instead, claiming they could ship it to me without paying sales tax, which wasn’t true. I’d still have to pay tax when registering the car in my home state since it was purchased from a dealership. After that, communication completely stopped. I wasted a whole day, lost the cost of airfare, and all I got was a hollow apology. So, if you choose to do business with them, be careful and make sure everything is on the up and up. More
I just had the pleasure of leasing my Lyriq through this dealer. This is the first time in my life that I have left a dealership and felt that I was treated fairly and honestly! Before coming to this dealer dealer. This is the first time in my life that I have left a dealership and felt that I was treated fairly and honestly! Before coming to this dealership I was in the process of closing a lease on a Lyriq at an out of area dealer but decided that the vehicle was not what I really wanted. So I came back to Cadillac of South San Francisco to find the car that I really wanted. What I ended up with was the all wheel drive model that I wanted at a lower overall cost than what the other dealer was trying to give me for a rear wheel drive model. They were doing the old trick of raising the price then showing you a discount on the inflated price. The whole sales crew starting with Grecia were friendly, gracious and above all honest! I highly recommend Cadillac of South San Francisco when you are in the market for a quality vehicle! More
