Beware, after attempting to work out a deal with camping world I had to walk away. Right off the bat they added $2593 of dealer junk fees in their initial proposal. Business as usual for a dealer like this, world I had to walk away. Right off the bat they added $2593 of dealer junk fees in their initial proposal. Business as usual for a dealer like this, so not unexpected. After stating very clearly that I would not pay any added fees beyond state mandated fees, things got weird. The salesman told me he'd "help" me but that "they" wouldn't let me see the final OTD price until I was committed to buy. Imagine committing to a very expensive purchase without knowing the price lol. So you know, thats a huge red flag, do not stand for that. I shared a few emails back and forth with the sales manager and eventually did get to a point where their biggest junk fee could be removed, a $1994 "prep fee". However, I was told that I would be taking the trailer "As-Is". This amounted to meaning a few things but worst of all, I would not receive a battery with the trailer. Rendering it inoperable. Reaching out to Keystone, I found out that batteries are factory equipment and if not supplied in some model cases, it is expected of dealers to sell fully operable units to customers. Camping world will withhold necessary equipment from your new unit if you do not bend to their predatory profit hunting. I ultimately walked away because they refused to remove the final junk fee of $599. A documentation fee. These are not mandated fees, you do not have to pay them. Camping world will throw a sale away over mere hundreds of dollars. This dealership is shady, predatory, and will sell you a non functional unit if you don't let them screw you for every dollar they demand. Do a google search and shop multiple dealers at once, and help to create a healthy competitive environment for them to have to operate in. Become an informed buyer and do your research on mandated fees, junk fees, and predatory tactics. Camping world can afford the deal you need, can you afford the scam they want? More
Put refundable 1000$ hold on RV, went with different vehicle and was told it would be refunded next day. I bought a new Cougar travel trailer from Camping world in 2021 and have an extended warranty. We have had continues problems with the refrigerator. It burns out the thermal coupler when we begin travelin in 2021 and have an extended warranty. We have had continues problems with the refrigerator. It burns out the thermal coupler when we begin traveling on the highway. When we arrive to our destination, the refrigerator doesn't work at all, electricity or gas. We've taken the trailer into the service department several times for the same reason. Today, we picked it up while the refrigerator was working. By the time we got home it wouldn't come on. After the fourth time visiting the service department, we called to let them know that the problem still exists. The service representative, service tech, the department manager, and the store manager all agreed that the model wasn't made to work while traveling. I checked the manual and it gives directions for the refrigerator while traveling. I called the manufacturer for Kestone Cougar and expect an answer tomorrow. Meanwhile, my husband called another RV service who said that isn't true. My next move, tomorrow, is to call corporate, then a lawyer regarding the federal MMWA Law. I smell a skunk. More
If I could leave a review with no stars It would be more accurate. Took almost 2 months to get a appointment, Then after 3 months of our camper in we just went and picked it up, unfinished. Out satellite accurate. Took almost 2 months to get a appointment, Then after 3 months of our camper in we just went and picked it up, unfinished. Out satellite system was originally installed by camper world of Colorado Springs 2 years ago. When it quite working I thought camper world could fix us. They had no idea how to diagnosis or repair the system. Put in a cable, that didn't work. At that point they told me they had no idea and come get it. I called Winegard, by the way they where great, they helped me figure out what to do. The satellite needed to be taken off and sent in. They called and talked Camper World through what to do. 3 weeks later they still have not mailed the system in. I had already paid Winegard to do the work. I got the service manager involved after many repeatedly unreturned calls. After finally getting the store manager involved too, Kenny our technician finally called me back. Had to drive 1 hour each way twice to finally talk to Kenny, because he will not return calls. Lied to me repeatedly, through his manager under to bus by telling me he know all along. Lied to me about what they had done and could do. We have now made a appointment with a specialist, who is getting to us in 3 days. Kenny lied again and saying they use the specialist all the time. Obviously not on our project and according to the specialist never. Kenny provided poor service and lied about it too More
xxxx poor customer service. Try speaking with a REAL person (if you have 30 minutes to wait). Ordered an item through them that did not fit my camper as was indicated. Now it's got to be returned and I' person (if you have 30 minutes to wait). Ordered an item through them that did not fit my camper as was indicated. Now it's got to be returned and I'm expected to pay to return it? I attempted to contact them by phone only to wait and wait and wait. Must have only one person dealing with customer service covering the entire country or, they really don't care. Don't bother sending emails as a way to contact because they never answer them either. There's plenty of other dealers out there that would love to have your business. Unless you like dealing with a business that could care less about you, I'd stay far, far away. More
We had a great Experience . . . First a little background information: We are from Minnesota, entering our 12th year of RVing and have been coming to Arizona for seven years now. Two First a little background information: We are from Minnesota, entering our 12th year of RVing and have been coming to Arizona for seven years now. Two and half years ago, we purchased a Winegard Trav'ler Satellite Dish at an estimated cost of $2,500.00 installed by and from CAMPING WORLD of TUCSON, AZ. This unit comes with a 2 year limited warranty. We purchased an Extended Two Year Warranty for $200 (part of the $2,500). While on our way to Yuma this year, our 2.5 year old Satellite Dish stopped working due to a “motor stall.” When we arrived in Tucson, it was 2 days before Thanksgiving. After getting set-up in an RV Park, near Camping World, I contacted and spoke with the Store's Retail Manager: James Geringer. He immediately arranged a diagnosis appointment for the next day. After determining what was needed, James and his assistant: Rosie bent over backwards to contact Winegard and get them to send the repair parts out to CW the same day, so if all went well, the parts would arrive a.s.a.p. after Thanksgiving. The parts arrived on Monday, which was fantastic considering the long Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. There was technical prep work required, assembly needed and all done to the Turret Base – Winegard #SK-SMOO on Monday. Our 5th wheel was scheduled for repair on Tuesday. Throughout all this time, James or Rosie provided up-to-date and on-going communications, which we appreciated because it told us we were being well looked after. In addition to the above, our “pin box” needed adjustment attention. Doug in another part of the Service Dept. coordinated attention and repair for the pin box need. Our unit was returned to us by Noon on Tuesday. We COULD NOT be more pleased with the experience we had at CAMPING WORLD TUCSON. The whole process was much more complicated and intricate than I could convey in my review. It was all handled extremely well. Our hats are off to James, Rosie, Doug and technician: jray. We have always been treated well at the CAMPING WORLD of TUCSON and we wanted others to know about our experience. We were NOT paid for my review. By Mike and Sandy S. of Minnesota More
What a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!!! With all the bad reviews of Camping World, I have to say I was really doubtful that this one would be any better than the others. I am from Michigan, With all the bad reviews of Camping World, I have to say I was really doubtful that this one would be any better than the others. I am from Michigan, came to Arizona and had some issues with my Thor MH and brought it in to be serviced. Doug Deets was my contact person in the Service Dept and I can't say enough about this guy. Very Professional, followed through with his word, did warranty work and showed me how to re-align my sliders that were out of sync. I really loved that he listened to me, answered all my questions (I'm a Newbie), and showed me how to insinc my sliders (2018 Thor Ace). I highly recommend this Camping World and Doug Deets if you need your MH serviced. KUDOS to Doug Deets, I WILL be back!!! More

We have never experienced the level of customer service we received from Ron. We had some challenges but he made every step easy for us including getting our camper title from Nebraska to Arizona. Ron followed up on every detail always making sure we were satisfied. We wanted to change out the steps in the new camper. Tucson didn’t have them and we were going to Buckeye for the next part of our trip so Ron called ahead for us to start the process to get the steps ordered so we could have them installed in Avondale. He has called several times to follow up with us. He was a joy to work with. He always got answers to our questions. Kirbie was also awesome. He is so friendly and seems to have his finger on everything going on. I can’t think of a better place to do business. We will definitely make the trip to Tucson from Nebraska for our next RV purchase. Bob and Pam Cover More
