Our team takes all feedback seriously, even when we see events differently, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify a few important points. First, this is the third version of this review that has been posted after previous versions were removed. Our goal is always to keep conversations respectful for all customers and employees. Second, as we explained during the process, we are not able to hold vehicles indefinitely while someone is deciding or changing their mind. This is to be fair to other customers who are ready and waiting to purchase a specific vehicle, especially in today’s market. Regarding the deposit, when you contacted us and let us know your circumstances had changed and you no longer wished to move forward, we processed a refund of your deposit as requested. We are truly sorry that the timing and communication during that process did not meet your expectations, but the deposit was returned in full. When you later reached back out about potentially proceeding with the purchase, we discussed updated options and terms based on current inventory, trade values, and available finance programs, not as “retaliation,” but as a reflection of the market at that time. Capital Toyota has proudly served Chattanooga and the surrounding community for many years and is grateful to have thousands of other customers who have shared positive experiences about the kindness, patience, and transparency of both our sales and service teams. While this review does not reflect the standards we work hard to uphold every day, we respect your decision to purchase elsewhere. I appreciate the efforts made my Luke and curry to rectify this. Please let me know what can actually be done at this point to resolve the numerous issues and I’ll be happy to work with whomever. While I don’t see how past issues can be resolved after having to attempt to deal with the warranty company and out of pocket expenses with other shops, I am all “ears”. Thanks again for attempting to rectify these ongoing concerns with my vehicle.
