My boyfriend pd 32k for my new car. Waiting to hear back about an oil leak. We didn't notice the oil leak till we got home. Service appt were 2 weeks out. Other shop said blue dye in the oil, so someone new about the leak. Still a small oil leak. Service appt. this Wednesday, we will see what happens. The car is already paid for, hopefully they fix the leak. He bought the 125k mile service package. More
One challenge I experienced during the buying process was communication between CarMax locations. I initially transferred a GMC Sierra from the Florida CarMax and waited nearly two months before learning fro communication between CarMax locations. I initially transferred a GMC Sierra from the Florida CarMax and waited nearly two months before learning from the Fresno location that the truck had several significant issues, including transmission problems, a malfunctioning touchscreen display, and noticeable engine vibration. Given CarMax's 125-point inspection process, I was surprised that these concerns were not identified before the transfer. Ultimately, the Fresno team informed me that the vehicle would be wholesaled. After that disappointment, I transferred another GMC Sierra from Oregon. Fortunately, that process went much more smoothly, and the truck was ready within a couple of weeks. I ended up purchasing it and couldn't be happier with my decision. Throughout this frustrating experience, David Iskenyan at CarMax Fresno was outstanding. He maintained open communication, kept me informed every step of the way, and made the buying process comfortable and stress-free. His professionalism and customer service made all the difference. I found the car I wanted online. Went in to the store talked with Armand he set it up for me to order. I payed the transfer fee and it was on its way. A week later it was delivered and a few days later Rich called me and said I could come in and test drive it. There was a delay in getting it registered here in California so they refunded my transfer fee. I test drove it and a hour later it was mine. More
