The wife and I were looking for a used 4-door sedan, and we decided to come here. We made 3 visits before purchasing. The place was well laid out and lots of cars to choose from. We settled on a 2014 Honda Civic 4 door. Every thing else went very well. I made the purchase with a personal check. Old school. DMV paperwork went well and it was out the door. Altogether it took about an hour. More

I purchased a truck at this dealership, but it took 2 visits. I intended to buy the truck by transferring money using a debit card, but realized when I arrived that the amount would be over my daily limi visits. The Carmax employee who worked with me, John, attempted to set up a line of credit for me so I could drive the truck home, and then return with a certified check a week later to pay off the debt and be finished. It took more than 2 hours for this line of credit to be denied, and I left feeling like my time had been totally wasted. A week later, I returned with a certified check and purchased the truck, and since it was an Express Pickup it went very smooth and easy. So the second visit was great, but the first one was so bad it convinced my girlfriend to look elsewhere for a car. More

We made an appointment, test drove the truck without a CarMax employee onboard, came back and walked around, made a decision and pulled the trigger. Easy. Only one issue; CarMax would not do paperwork to transfer personalized license plates. I have had them for 40 years and first place or dealership that would not do it. Not a deal breaker but a pain for me. More
