Paid $700. 00 to have a car transferred from Texas. Paid $4000.00 over book and paid cash because I really wanted the car. It arrives with undisclosed damage to front bumper cover. They agree to have it "fixed". The repair vendor of THEIR choice doesnt remove the bumper and just paints over the damage without sanding. I take it back to them and show them where they went wrong the first time. They agree and tell me they will remove it, sand it, refinish it. They didnt so I have to go back AGAIN to get them to do it right. This time they do the job correctly BUT, the paint is not a good match. The poor Manager, he was a great guy, saw it and agreed the color was off but said there was nothing left for them to do. I asked for a credit of some kind so I could go have it done myself. Crickets. The customer satisfaction commitment at CARMAX for issues created by THEM is very poor. I'll never buy a car here again. More

The emissions test was not completed prior to delivery, so I had to take care of that myself during the holidays, which was difficult to fit into my schedule. Additionally, some of the required documents for my co-signer were missed, and he now has to go to a dealership near him to complete the signing. While these weren’t major issues, they did create extra steps that could have been avoided. Overall, I’m still happy with the vehicle and the experience, but I would recommend double-checking that all required paperwork and inspections are completed before delivery. More
