Overall, my experience with CarMax was positive, and I’m very happy with the car itself. It’s exactly what I was looking for and has been great so far. The purchasing process was generally smooth, and the staff was friendly and helpful. That said, there were a couple of oversights after the sale that were inconvenient. The emissions test was not completed prior to delivery, so I had to take care of that myself during the holidays, which was difficult to fit into my schedule. Additionally, some of the required documents for my co-signer were missed, and he now has to go to a dealership near him to complete the signing. While these weren’t major issues, they did create extra steps that could have been avoided. Overall, I’m still happy with the vehicle and the experience, but I would recommend double-checking that all required paperwork and inspections are completed before delivery. More

Absolutely the best car buying experience of my 67 years. Frank is my hero. He went beyond and transferred vehicle to Tucson. I have one issue with trying to get help via a phone call. I received a package with my paperwork, and had a question about something, so I called the number on the letter enclosed with the paperwork. The recording said the store was open, but i needed to talk to the business office, which was closed. It gave me the option to press a number for the hours for the business hours, but when i pressed the number, it took me back to the main menu, and asked me what i needed. I said i had a question about the paperwork I received, and the recording advised that the store is open, but the business office was not open. It asked if I wanted to know the hours of the business office, and told me to press the number I had already selected. I pressed the number, which took me back to the main menu. I said I wanted to talk to a person, then it asked what my question was, and I repeated I wanted to talk to a person. I was transferred to a person, who was not at the store. He advised that the business office is too busy to answer their phones on saturday mornings, and advised that I might have better luck, if I call back this afternoon! I've got plans this afternoon. I was really disappointed with your phone service, and the fact that I couldn't figure out what hours the business office is open. I think it would be much better for customers to hear that all representatives are currently busy, and they could have someone call me back. I didn't enjoy being on a merry-go-round, and still not have my concerns taken care of! I made 3 calls, and still have no answer to my concern, and I'm not looking forward to calling back later, hoping there just might be someone who is not too busy to address my concern! 😡 More
