I had a great buying experience at Castle Downers Grove. Completely hassle FREE! I drove 90 minutes from NW Indiana to buy my Palisade from them. I was really looking to buy a Genesis but Consumer Reports gave the new Santa Fe a review I couldn't pass up without looking at one. My wife and I stopped at Castle Hyundai on our way to Castle Genesi Reports gave the new Santa Fe a review I couldn't pass up without looking at one. My wife and I stopped at Castle Hyundai on our way to Castle Genesis and were greeted by Nizar. It was an easy meeting with no pressure; Nizar let us drive a new Santa Fe Hybrid demo by ourselves and I think we were sold; we did visit the Genesis location after returning the demo and were surprised to find out that a comparable Genesis would put us in a GV80 for a lot more money so we went home to think about it. Nizar did make a friendly, no pressure call the next day looking for our thoughts on the Santa Fe so we went back to look more in-depth. Again, no pressure and our questions were answered. Fast forward a couple of days and a new, dark grey Santa Fe is in our garage for good now. We would HIGHLY recommend Nizar at Castle! More

I usually give businesses the benefit of the doubt, but after multiple disappointing experiences, I feel compelled to share. 1) Lack of Basic Courtesy – During my first complimentary service visit, I was eight months pregnant. When my car was ready, I was simply handed my keys and told to find my vehicle “along the building out back.” It was snowing and icy, and no one offered to bring the car around—even after seeing my condition. For any customer, this is poor service; for a visibly pregnant woman, it’s downright thoughtless. 2) Overstated Wait Times – My second service appointment (just an oil change) was quoted at two hours—a process that usually takes 45–60 minutes at most other dealerships. I waited in the lounge with my infant daughter, only to see my car sit idle in the service bay for over 45 minutes without any update. I eventually had to call a family member to pick us up. Appointments should be honored—not pushed behind walk-ins. 3) Inaccurate Information and Misleading Practices – Every service sticker placed on my vehicle had incorrect dates or mileage—one even said my next service was due in 2026. I had to call each time to verify when I was actually due. Worse, I was told to come in for service more often than necessary, using up all four complimentary service appointments prematurely. Not once was I informed that I only had four. This feels like a tactic to get customers in more often and start billing once the free services run out. ⸻ In short, Castle has shown me a complete lack of customer consideration, organization, and transparency. I wouldn’t recommend this dealership to anyone who values their time, trust, or basic respect. More
