I purchased a vehicle cash, a brand new 2026 Nissan frontier. I told Becky I wanted leather interior and she wrote down the stock number from the ad I showed her online. Pretty easy you would think. They deliver a vehicle to my home with no leather, no sun roof, no Pro Premier Package such as the fender sound system etc. I don't know how the heck they got it wrong after I specifically gave them the stock number. Now I have to wait until whenever they can find my correct truck and they even had the wrong vin number in the contract so I have to redo the contract. I asked for my inconvenience of this mess if they could tint the windows and was told it's extra! One would think they would make it right and offer to tint the windows atleast. More
I contacted Cavender Nissan Rockwall Dec 12, 2025 and negotiated a price on a new vehicle. I flew to TX and took delivery on Dec 26, 2025, paying in full. Subsequently, they refused to forward the tile application paperwork to my state so that I could register the vehicle. After much delay on their part I was finally able to get the vehicle registered in my state. After which, I wrote a letter to the Corporate Head of Rockwall Nissan and did not even receive a reply. Please don’t enable them to continue business. Your money and business will be appreciated elsewhere. This is the letter I snail mailed to him, I DID NOT RECEIVE A REPLY. This neglect of a customer complaint should in itself should lead you to find another dealer for your purchase. Dear Mr. Cavender, I’m writing this letter to share with you the purchase experience I had at your Nissan dealership in Rockwall, TX. In December I called your salesman Bobby about a new Frontier pickup. The experience was good and I was able to move through the process fairly quickly after being handed off to JP Gonzalez, the Finance Mgr. A few days later I flew to TX to take delivery of the pickup. I was met at the dealership by Bobby and after sighing some additional paperwork, handed him a Cashiers check for the agreed upon price in full. I asked three times before I left if there was any other paperwork that needed to be completed, I was assured that I was good. Bobby stated the title paperwork would be forwarded onto my local County Treasures office for processing. Weeks after returning home to Montana I visited the local County Treasures office to pay my taxes and get my licenses plates. I was told they had not received any paperwork. I contacted JP at Cavender and asked where the paperwork was, he was at a loss and said he would look into the matter, he believed that Maria Rodriguez had the paperwork. Long story short, I was told on at least four separate occasions the paperwork was being sent only to find out days later it had not. Over ten phone calls, numerous emails, additional help from my County Treasurers office, and being asked by Maria and JP to fill out and send Cavender additional paperwork, I had reached my limit. If I can’t register it, I cant drive it. I contacted Taylor Fuller, Sales Mgr at Rockwall Nissan to express my frustration and find out why the paperwork was undeliverable. He assured me that it would be fixed and sent out immediately. The paperwork finally arrived here after a few days and the nightmare process has ended for me. During the back and forth With JP and Maria, the emails I received had different sales figures, wrong addresses, my name misspelled, and also showed that I had a loan/lean on the vehicle through Nissan although it had been paid for in full. When I spoke with my local Treasures office they stated they, “had never seen paperwork that screwed up” three of them worked on it for a half hour to sort it out the errors. To sum up my experience with your employees, Bobby did a good job. Most everything was out of his control but he answered the phone when I called and was professional. His product knowledge needs some improvement but I’m able to figure out how the pickup works. Taylor fixed this problem for me when no one else could. I can’t say enough about his professionalism and courtesy. Outstanding. JP and Maria were subpar. I don’t know if they were lying to me, inept or both. The errors in the paperwork and handling of the process should cause them both professional embarrassment. TR More
Very Disappointed with Cavender Nissan of Rockwall Service Department. When I purchased a vehicle in 2024, I also purchased "Free oil changes for 2 years" I've been bringing in my vehicle to cash in o Service Department. When I purchased a vehicle in 2024, I also purchased "Free oil changes for 2 years" I've been bringing in my vehicle to cash in on these oil changes since I bought the car and today was going to be my last one before the 2 years was up. When I arrived to pick up, they brought me into their office and denied the last free oil change. They stated that the agreement they had on hand showed no records of free oil changes. Even after looking back and seeing that I've not paid for a single oil change since I bought the car, they denied it. Once before, I brought the car in for an oil change and had them scan the oil change agreement into the system so they wouldn't forget about it next time. They were able to locate the scan with the oil change deal on it today and STILL DENIED IT!! It's just crazy to me that they'd lose a customer over $108. I paid it and left. There are many other places I could've gone to get an oil change that would've been cheaper. I will NOT be returning to get my car serviced and I will definitely not be buying another car there. The most frustrating part was that they made me feel like I was trying to get one over on them when I was just wanting to get what I was owed. More

If you’re tired of dealing with those ghetto, fake “dealerships” pretending to be professional, do yourself a favor — go to Cavender Nissan of Rockwall. They truly sell the best of the best. And when you go, make sure you ask for Kelon Robinson. He’s a true gem — honest, helpful, and treats you like more than just a customer.
