My car buying experience started with Napleton and someone who I thought I could trust to take good care of my sister who wanted to buy a Jeep. After hooking up my sister with the salesman, who I will not mention, he decided to turn it over to a novice salesperson who knew nothing of what my sister wanted and it frustrated her because of having to start the process all over describing what she wanted. I was embarrassed that my sister was treated this way and we ended up at Central Florida Chrysler, Jeep , Dodge. Anthony, Charlie and Jose took such good care of my sister so I thought I would by a Dodge truck myself that I feel in love with and that Sunday we drove away with a 2 vehicle deal!!! Lied to every time I turned around. I bought this truck for cash over the phone after seeing it online. I only went through with the deal because I really liked the vehicle. I called an I bought this truck for cash over the phone after seeing it online. I only went through with the deal because I really liked the vehicle. I called and negotiated the price (which was what they had asked for) and when I went to transfer the money they had added $899..00. I asked why it went up I was told that it was for dealer prep. I said that you had not told me about that, and they basically said too bad and that they would refund my down payment and cancel the sale. I went ahead and agreed to pay for it. I told them that I would come down and pick it up the next day. They said that since I didn’t pay the Florida fees and registration that it would have to be shipped up here to Brunswick Georgia (that only wound up costing me another $500.00 and now I have to take it to a body shop to repair the damage done in shipping) I decided to drive the 400 mile round trip to deal with them the next day. I asked what the $899.00 dealer prep included,and I was told that they would wash and wax and fill it up with gas. When the truck arrived the next day, it was obvious that it had not been washed or waxed and the gas tank was empty. I called and asked about this and he said that if the gas tank was full it would make it too heavy for shipping, and that the shipping company had probably removed the gas that they had put in. (I didn’t fall off the turnip truck yesterday) Also, while I was there I asked my salesman where is the back power window that was listed. He said it must have been a typo because there was no back power windows. Then I asked him to show me how the GPS system works. After a few minutes he said “You will have to order an SD card to make it work, and that he could get me one for cost from a friend of his at a Toyota dealer (another $150.00) The next day when the truck arrived I got in touch with a mechanic friend and asked him to show me about the SD card and how the GPS system works. He informed me that the truck didn’t have a GPS system in it. To say that I am not happy with this dealer would be an understatement. I wouldn’t recommend this dealer to my worst enemy. I did have my salesman say to me that he was going to try and do something for me because of all the trouble that I had gone through (that was only eight days ago). Hey...at least send me a check for the money that I spent in filling up the truck. I knew that I would not hear from them considering that I waited hours on end for someone to return my call when I was trying to deal with them. If I weren’t a born again Baptist Preacher I would consider taking action against them, but then I think, Jesus didn’t act wrong when He was treated wrong. Glad to be finished with them (and I say that because I don’t expect that I will ever get a call back from them, Also, if I were a betting man, I would be willing to wager that these comments will never be posted anywhere.
