We visited the dealership to have my Jeep serviced and while there, we began discussing our options for a new car for my partner with Jason Bonilla. He was extremely pleasant and easy to work with; he understood that we were looking to trade in my partner's Nissan Maxima. After spending over seven hours at the dealership, the sales manager Manny advised that given her credit situation and the equity in her current car, her best option would be to lease with myself as a co-signer. I shared that we would be happy to proceed as such, as long as we could come to a monthly payment that we were comfortable with. I also made it expressly clear that we would need to confirm this monthly payment and ensure that we were in fact comfortable with it before we pulled my credit, as my daughter will be attending college in a few months and I am in the process of applying for aid and financial assistance - as you can imagine, this process and the outcome could be negatively affected by another inquiry into my credit. He assured me that it would be handled accordingly. When I checked in with Jason when we got home, he informed me that this was in fact going to be a financed situation and that my credit had been run. I had to go back and forth with he and Manny to clarify what was discussed and agreed upon - a lease with myself as cosigner (not a finance) and a monthly payment that we were comfortable with - and in the end we were nowhere. Manny apologized for the miscommunication on his part, however we are left with no resolution - my credit was run and ultimately affected, and we were not able to come to a final lease agreement nor financed . I am left with hours wasted, a hit to my credit, and no plan for a new car for my partner. I want to share this so that this might be a learning to Manny and the team at this dealership - they should fully and clearly communicate to both customers and to their fellow colleagues prior to running credit. We had a terrible experience and still have no solution - Manny has yet to call back and offer any assistance or for anything to be done to make up for our extreme inconvenience. I truly hope that no other customer has to endure this. As a prior customer who just purchased a 2020 Jeep Gladiator last year at this location I will not be returning for any future business. While I did have to wait quite a bit of time than I was told for the service it was still very accommodating. Everyone was friendly as always, I enjoy coming here for my service.
