They don’t answer the phone here, they don’t return calls or messages, and the customer service people are just as bad— they avoid your calls, forward you to voicemail, and never give you straight answers. Don’t trust any work being done on your car here. They said service was completed, but it never was. The entire place is a xxxxxxxx operation. Incompetent from top to bottom. So make sure you get everything in writing. If you end up here, Call Kia Consumer Affairs at 1-800-333-4542 (Mon–Fri, 5 AM–6 PM PST) and escalate your complaints — it’s the only way to get action. On June 6th, my mother—who has been a loyal Kia and Hyundai customer for years—brought her vehicle in for service at this dealership. We did not hear a single update until July 8th, when I called my Hyundai customer for years—brought her vehicle in for service at this dealership. We did not hear a single update until July 8th, when I called myself to check in. At that time, I was told the issue appeared to be a sensor problem that could be covered under warranty. My mother was asked to provide her license, registration, and maintenance records, which she submitted that same day after receiving a text message from the service department. On July 9th, I followed up via text and voicemail—no response. On July 16th, I called again and was told someone would reach out. Later that day, I finally received a call stating that the issue was now sludge in the engine, not a sensor. We were told documentation and photos would be sent over that day. The only thing we’ve received so far is a vague note saying there was “no oil on the dipstick” when the vehicle was brought in. Since then: • No one has followed up. • No documentation or photos have been provided. • I have called four times today and my mother has called twice, all with no response. • A text sent on Saturday also went unanswered. Timeline Summary: 1. June 6 – Vehicle dropped off. 2. June 6–July 8 – No contact or updates. 3. July 8 – Told it’s a sensor issue under possible warranty. 4. July 16 – Told it’s an engine sludge issue instead, despite full maintenance records. 5. No supporting documentation or photos have been provided. 6. Calls, emails, and texts have gone unanswered. 7. The vehicle has now been in the dealership’s possession for over 7 weeks. 8. A complaint has been filed with the Better Business Bureau. This level of communication and service is unacceptable. At this point, we expect: • A full written diagnosis with proper documentation and photos • A clear explanation for the conflicting information we’ve received • A concrete plan for resolution, including when and how the vehicle will be repaired or returned More

Worst service experience EVER! I went to pick up the car, again never spoke to my service advisor, drove my car home. Two days later I get emails that my car had been transferred to service....and then one about pending issues they had identified. I already had the car home. No communication NONE! They did replace a part, under extended warranty, but I think only because my relative had to convince them. Now I have another issue that will require going to a dealer and there don't appear to be any local service centers with good reviews. UGH! More

I’ve been a loyal customer of Central Kia of Plano for years, having purchased my last two vehicles here and getting all my service done as well. Without any prior notice, they now charge a 3% fee for using credit cards, and they failed to inform me of this until after my service was completed. I understand that businesses need to make money, but accepting credit cards should be a basic cost of doing business, not something passed on to customers. I feel like I’m being nickeled and dimed, and I refuse to support any company that operates this way. Very disappointed in how this was handled, and I won’t be returning. More

I always take me 2017 Kia Sorento to Central Kia of Plano for service. I had a brake light out, purchased the lights from an auto part store thinking I could change it out from using the manual.
