The new sale of the car went great. After that they just crap on you. I even asked them how many times do you crap on your customers expect them to come back and do business with you. Long story short - my car has been in the Service Department of Central Kia for approximately 53 days (before that it was at a different Kia dealer for a recall - it needed additional warranty work, Department of Central Kia for approximately 53 days (before that it was at a different Kia dealer for a recall - it needed additional warranty work, and ended up at Central Kia). I bought my used 2021 Kia Sportage on December 28th and have yet to take possession. I am currently waiting on them to make keys (program and cut the blade for the fob) for the ones they lost sometime around February 18th - they tried to give the car back to me on March 10th, with just a metal key for the doors and ignition - no fobs. I declined taking possession, knowing what a pain it would be for me (based on the previous amount of days it took them to fix its other issues), to deal with getting the fobs correctly done - I am now waiting on them to finish the job and supply me with two working fobs. After all it came with two fobs! Over the course of this time, in order to try and get my car done faster and made somewhat of a priority, I emailed the GM three times, and have called several times trying to talk to the service manager. I am told she will call me back, but so far, she has not, and I never heard from the GM. The GM from where I bought the car also tried, but apparently, that didn't work either. The service guy I have been dealing with from Kia stopped calling me back a few weeks ago and has been, intermittently, keeping the service manager from where I bought the car in the loop, but just tells him, it will be another week with various excuses why! The dealer where I bought the car told me it would take a week or two before I could take possession because only Kia could do the recall. I bought the car knowing this and was willing to wait. Well, taking 53 days (regardless of its other issues, and with no true end in sight) is too long to wait and truly incompetent. I have been nice about it until now when they tried to give me the car without the proper keys - which they knew about since mid-February - because, they lost them! They have had plenty of time to make new fobs! You should know that the dealer from which I bought the car had given me a loaner, which I am thankful for, but also has its limitations since no one but me can drive it as they would not be insured. In my household, this had been a huge inconvenience! I truly cannot figure out why my car was put on such a low priority list (I am assuming because I did not cause a big enough stink previous to this) - bottom line, it didn't need to take this long!
