I recently took my truck to Chaparral Ford for a simple brake switch issue and informed them up front that it was a Holman account. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. It took two full brake switch issue and informed them up front that it was a Holman account. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. It took two full weeks for them to complete the work — far longer than expected for such a minor repair. During that time, I called every other day requesting updates, but not once did anyone return my calls or provide any meaningful information. Every time I did get someone on the phone, they either didn’t know the status or gave vague answers with no follow-up. In my opinion, this dealership could really benefit from some serious communication training. Clear, timely updates and follow-through shouldn’t be too much to expect, especially when customers are without their vehicles for extended periods. If communication and customer service matter to you, I would strongly recommend considering other options. More
When I initially made the appointment for tire replacement, the service advisor said it would take about an hour to do the job, so, I had an appointment set for 10 am on 9 July 2025 to have 4 tire replacement, the service advisor said it would take about an hour to do the job, so, I had an appointment set for 10 am on 9 July 2025 to have 4 tires changed on my 2wd ranger. I arrived at 0945. My vehicle rolled in at 1000 hrs and my vehicle didn’t roll out until 1245 hrs. 2.5 hrs to change 4 tires??The tech also forgot to install valve stem caps and he pulled out all the jacking equipment in the cab of my truck and didn’t put any of it back. I made this appointment time under the impression that it would be 1-1.5 hrs maximum. I have to be at work at 1400 hrs in San Antonio. I was close to being late to work. Not acceptable. More
