If i could give this dealer all zeros i would. I bought a used acar from them that was over priced by 4,000 compared to book value and also puty me in very high interest program when they said i would be g a used acar from them that was over priced by 4,000 compared to book value and also puty me in very high interest program when they said i would be getting 5% interest i really got 12.99% and they said i already signed the contect so i had to deal with it. Next i brought my car there because 2 days after i bought it the brakes went all together. when i went back to pick up my car it was raining and both windows were down. It only gets better. My transmission went three weeks later and they vowed to replace it. 3 transmissions later they finally got it right. In the meantime they gave me a rental car for all my troubles. After they couldn't get my transmission right they made me cover the rental car they "gave me for my troubles". What a crock of s***. Overall i wouldn't send my worst enemy to this dealer ship and i would advise...STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More
I just bought a new 2006 Toyota Corolla. Friends of our recommended this dealership to us, as they had bought 3 cars from them previously. Even though we haven't used the service department, our friends to recommended this dealership to us, as they had bought 3 cars from them previously. Even though we haven't used the service department, our friends told us they do quality repairs and have never had a problem with service. I despise high pressure salesmen. Mike Smead, our salesman, greeted us professionally, answered all our questions and most importantly, put no pressure on us to buy a car. He was very helpful and really worked with us to get us a car we could afford. Tom, in finance, was also very helpful in getting us a loan at a good interest rate. He did not pressure us into buying a warranty, but was helpful in describing the details and left the decision to us. I would highly recommend these two men, and really don't understand why all the negative reviews previously posted. More
A recent car purchase at Charles Toyota led us to rate this dealer as unsatisfactory in all areas. Upon initial purchase of a vehicle, we were told we would be getting car "a". When the vehicle was pres this dealer as unsatisfactory in all areas. Upon initial purchase of a vehicle, we were told we would be getting car "a". When the vehicle was presented to us, it was not the vehicle we had paid for. It did not have many of the ammenties car "a" had. We immediately confronted the sales manager and general manage. We were told they would do all they could to make the vehicle given to us as close to the vehicle as we thought we had purchased. The vehicle was so severly scratched, they promised they would remove them all. When they couldnt' do it, we were told we were being picky and that even "God couldn't provide us with what we wanted." Just two weeks earlier we had purchased a vehicle at Colchester Toyota and it was in mint condition. The service department at Charles Toyota is the only department worth noting. More

The salesman told me the MSRP on the car was about $32,000 I gave him a $400 tip to get me the lowest price possible, so he sold it to me for $25,000. It was used, 2 years old with 13,500 miles on it, but in very good condition. He also said that the car would sell fast, so I really didn't have time to sleep on it. I soon found the actual MSRP is about $24,000 for a new MR2 Spyder. The service dept also ignored my issues on steering wheel alignment, so my steering wheel is off-kilter and that's that ;) Thanks Charles Toyota! I hope the extra cash you made off me was worth it! Live and learn. More
Absolutely horrible. Took advantage of my daughter by selling her a used car with an overly inflated sales price as compared to regional averages, put her in a 17.99% financing deal at a monthly payment selling her a used car with an overly inflated sales price as compared to regional averages, put her in a 17.99% financing deal at a monthly payment she cannot afford, falsified contract dates and were just plain arrogant.<br><br>STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. They have a very poor reputation in Southeastern CT. (especially the finance manager) More
