So infuriated with CDJR of Tampa Bay's dishonest and high pressure tactics to get you to come in! I went ahead and scheduled an appointment with Julian to refinance my auto loan but ended up canceling because of doctor appointments. I continued to receive emails and texts and then phonecalls from Julian of CDJR of Tampa Bay insisting that I come in even after I repeatedly explained that I still owe $XX,XXX amount on my jeep because I've only had it for 2 years and of those two years I was out of work for 7 months for surgery because I have cancer and had to defer payments till I was able to return to work. Nothing I said deterred this young man and at this point he was insisting that he could help me get into the truck I wanted so once again I made an appointment. With the help of my son, I went in today to meet with Julian and he quickly took down my information and inspected my jeep and after a few moments came out with his manager to tell me I owed to much on my jeep! I was livid! I told the manager that I had told Julian the amount I owed over the phone before even thinking of scheduling the appointment and that Julian insisted that I come in because he could help. The manager's retort was to ask if I have a down payment. My response was to request they take me off their call list and I left. I am completely disgusted with the lack of business ethics. More

The financing ended up being $7,000 more than expected, and to make matters worse, he manipulated the loan duration and amount to inflate the interest rate by 2%. This was a deliberate trick to trap customers into paying significantly more over time. After the deal was done, there was zero support. Calls were ignored, and they took no responsibility for the shady behavior. This was a complete scam. Avoid this dealership at all costs—run, don’t walk. Protect yourself and your money. More
