I had truly hoped that this would be a positive car buying experience as it was my son's first time. He found a truck he truly just had to have and it was a good price. Regardless of the typical price back and forth game he got to what he was OK with paying. We completed all of the paperwork in my Son's name as buyer with me as cosigner. However, later found that they had placed my name first as "owner" and his name as secondary. We are dealing with that because he is going to refinance anyways, but our next interaction or non-interaction is what truly rated them so low. Upon purchase and before driving off, they only handed him 1 keyfob. That is never a good idea to only have 1, so we asked for a second. We were both assured that they had the 2nd but they usually keep those (I assume in case the buyer defaults etc..), but both gentlemen agreed that they would get this for him - since it was his first official purchase etc... They would have it for him when the license plates come in. That time came and they still didn't have the keyfob. My son tried calling several times about it and could never get a call back. I tried calling several times and could never get a call back. I then began emailing our salesperson David Padilla. I used the same email address that he used when negotiating the price - so it was his legitimate email address. I NEVER got a reply either. I sent a final message that I had held back on any reviews until well after our purchase for reasons just like this. I still have never received a call back and just want potential buyers to realize that once everything is signed - you can forget a follow up on anything. Do not sign anything or leave without 100% of everything that you need or expect. If you trust that they will get you something later - don't believe a single word of any of it. More
