Don't count on them to make it right if they damage your car I've been to Colonial Hyundai many times in the past 5 years and had nothing but good experiences until my last visit. I had Colonial mount new tires I've been to Colonial Hyundai many times in the past 5 years and had nothing but good experiences until my last visit. I had Colonial mount new tires on my 2012 Genesis. I was disappointed to see that the wheels were scratched during the process. I pointed out the damage to Ivon, the service manager, who said it couldn't have possibly been their equipment and refused to admit any fault, but agreed to have the wheels repainted. The repainted wheels looked worse than the scratched wheels. A poor color match, dust in the paint, and overspray everywhere else. Colonial service refused to do anything further. I had to pay hundreds to have the wheels replaced on my own dime. I showed photos of the damage to other tire shops, and they all said the damage was caused by the tire mounting machine. I won't be back to Colonial as I no longer trust them to make things right if something goes wrong. More

We purchased a used car a year ago that had problems from the time we got home, it would not start. They had started it in the parking lot every time we test drove it. They did not honor warranty and said nothing was wrong (the most poor, rude and inadequate serviceI have seen in 35 years). Car continued to have problems and we could not trust them to fix it, stalled on I95 last week. Had it fixed at another dealer. I just have to warn people because they do not care. More
Poor Customer Service The experience I had when buying the car was good, as soon as I need service it was bad. At time of purchase, I paid for a lifetime state inspection a The experience I had when buying the car was good, as soon as I need service it was bad. At time of purchase, I paid for a lifetime state inspection and free oil changes / tire rotations. For the oil changes I can't remember if this was for a few years or lifetime. When I brought it in for the 3500 mile maintenance. They told me over the phone the the fuel additive is not free, that was $60. At this point I feel like they are over charging on the additive to cover the "free" oil change / tire rotation. So I told them not to do the additive, I will buy that my self for $15 and pour it into my gas tank. That following Saturday I take my car in and speak to a service tech who looks up my account and tells me that the maintenance plan I though I bough is not on my account and I will have to pay. So, I went home looked through my paper work and found nothing stating I purchased it. But verbally I was told I purchased it. So I paid for something and have only word of mouth. My loss. I'm happy with the car, I'm unhappy with colonial hyundia of downingtown. Originally I gave them a good rating, but that was right after I bought the car, I should have waited to see how they treat me once fear of losing a sale is gone. More

He gave me the information on the newer one, which was a CPO vehicle. After the test drive, he started talking to the finance people and came back with what I thought was going to be an undoable price. He got the used car manager to give me a little more for mine, and met all my criteria, so it was hard to refuse the deal. Needless to say, I left that day with a new car. Brian was very helpful and patient with my questions and concerns. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a new car. More

Salesman comes to the rescue! Somewhere along the lines Customer Service skills has been lost by so many industries. I took my car in to be serviced and was scheduled to pick up a loaner while it was in for repairs. Unfortunately the power was out at the dealership most of the day and I didn't receive a call that the loaner wasn't available. The service representative expressed that he couldn't help and that I needed to reschedule for another day. I was not happy because I had just traveled a little over an hour to get there after work. Sales Representative Jean Paul Simpsons heard me and the service rep going back and forth about the loaner. The service rep. expressed that there was nothing he could do and walked away. Mr. Simpsons asked me what was gonna on and I told him the situation. He went and got the General Manager and they issued me a loaner right on the spot. I purchased my 2007 Santa Fe from Colonial brand new and when I purchase my next vehicle in 2016 it will be with Mr. Simpsons at Colonial Hyundai because of this experience. It was good to see a Salesman come to the rescue when it wasn't for a sale! Excellent Customer Service on Mr. Simpsons and the GM's part. More
Appoint was for 60K sched maintenance on my 07 Azera. The appoint was set up wth my service advisor, Donna. Prior to the service she reviewed the items included as well as a few optional service upgrade The appoint was set up wth my service advisor, Donna. Prior to the service she reviewed the items included as well as a few optional service upgrades that I accepted. We also discussed an issue with my cruise control system. The appoint date arrived and I dropped off the car early in the AM. Donna inspected the car and I was provided a pre-arranged loaner, which was a new Elantra. Off I went immediatly pleased with the appearance, functionality & operation of the Elantra. As the day progressed I found myself more and more impressed with everthing about that car. I was called by Donna mid-afternoon and informed that my car was ready. Upon arrival Donna & I reviewed the work order and I was informed that all went as scheduled including the check of my cruise control which turned out to require a replacement sensor which I was happy to hear was 100% covered under my extended 100k warrenty minus the $50 deductable required by my plan. The car had been washed and was ready to go. On the drive home, I couldn't believe how great the engine & trans performed! The new sensor and trans fluid flush really did the trick, producing a 'buttery' shift pattern! Another wonderful experience at Colonial and confirmation once again, of the value enhancement, derived from allowing the dealership to perform any and all needed service & warraanty work from the day you buy, until the day you sell! I thoroughly enjoy driving my car and honestly believe that everyone I have ever came into contact with at Colonial, beginning with the phone girls, all through sales & service and even including the detail guys, have 'always' performed thier jobs with an upbeat, positive and very pleasant, customer orientated approach! I have a 2010 Santa Fe which I have loyaly taken to the dealership for service for the past 2 years. After an oil change my car developed a leak. I took the car in 3 separate times to have the leak fixed a dealership for service for the past 2 years. After an oil change my car developed a leak. I took the car in 3 separate times to have the leak fixed and each time I was told it was fixed and I should not have another problem. It contiued to leak and I have taken it to another dealership to see if it can be fixed there under warranty. I am very disappointed that I was told that it was fixed and all 3 times it was not. To top it off the last time I got it back the drivers door handle and steering wheel was covered in grease (still don't have it all out of the door handle). Basically I feel lied to about the repairs that were supposedly being made. More
I purchased my car in November the dealership was far from my home so I was concerned about getting it in for maintenace I was told I would get a loaner car. Well from day 1 my car pulled to the right an from my home so I was concerned about getting it in for maintenace I was told I would get a loaner car. Well from day 1 my car pulled to the right and sometimes to the left. I had it back 3 times and each time I was told I did not qualify for a loaner car. Now after having the car 7 months I am told the rotars need to be replaced I need new tires and it is still pulling. I feel the constant pulling on the car is wearing the tires down faster and I was told one of the times I had my car in that the alignment was off and that is why it was pulling. I feel I got totally ripped off with my car and I absolutely hate this car. More
