My Review of Commonwealth Honda:
After having previously bought 2 new chev trucks from Commonwealth several years ago, I was in the marked for a new Honda CRV. They play the typical sales games that have given cars sales people a bad reputation. After insulting me on my trade in value & then expecting I would be stupid enough to pay a few hundred under MSRP we walked out only to receive calls for let's make a deal on Sunday.

That stupid bell they ring after a sale is also annoying & their service department has always left a lot be be desired.

Go to Atamian in Lowell, they are honest & treat you with respect, that's what I did & I am quite happy with my new CRV.

My Review of Commonwealth Honda:
I have never been treated this bad by any business. Wallmart and Mcdonalds care more about their customers then these guys do.

Although my salesman Mike McKenna the sales manager Jonathan were friendly and willing to work with my budget, when I made my way to the used car section of commonwealth motors the manager Carlos was very rude and over aggressive. He would not let us leave and insisted that I filled out a credit report even though I did not find a used car to my liking. At this point I still had every intention of buying a new 08 Civic and I wanted to take a quick look at the used cars before I committed to a 5 year loan on a new car. Carlos stalled me for atleast 10 minutes before I could stand up to walk away. I tried to shake his hand and asked that if they found a car for me or my girlfriend (we were looking for either 2 used or 1 new and 1 used) to call me so I could take a look at it. I did not want the kia spectra that he was offering me overpriced. So I shook his hand and said thanks for the offer. As I was leaving he replied, "Oh there is no offer here buddy." and continued with, "you accomplished nothing by walking through that door today." I was shocked and mad my way back to Commonwealth Honda to
Report the way that Carlos had insulted me and my girlfriend.

I found Jonathan and told him that Carlos was very rude to me and that I was taking my business elsewhere. In the middle of my sentence a man that I had never met yelled to Jonathan, Dont worry Jonathan, Carlos wasnt rude. When I tried to explain that I was trying to leave the used car place and buy a new Civic, He cut me of and said, "Buy a car, you couldnt afford it!" I said "F*@k Y#U and walked out the door.

Mike McKenna was new, he started right before presidents day weekend. I had a deal ready and I couldnt wait to sign and drive away with my new car and help out the new guy with a sale, also Jonathan Beaudoin was friendly, a little aggressive but friendly. The other people in the company lost them the sale.

Carlos in used cars should be fired for the way he treats customers.

My girlfriend also had a problem with him years ago.

everyone I talk to and all the reviews paint the same picture.

My Review of Commonwealth Honda:
I just left Commonwealth Honda with the worst business experience of my life. I have never been treated this poorly buy a company. Walmart and McDonald's care more about their customers than these people do.

I first walked in looking to buy an '08 Civic LX. The salesman was Mike McKenna. He was friendly and patient with my indecisiveness about buying new, leasing or buying used. While going over the details, Mike brought the sales manager Jonathan over to explain. Jonathan was a little bit aggressive but was friendly and willing to work out a deal. I left and went over my budget and returned a few days later to ask a few questions. Mike brought over the internet sales manager Craig. He seemed friendly and once we had worked out an estimated price that sounded reasonable, I was still unsure if it would fit my budget so I went home and returned the next day asking about preowned cars and if I could take a look before I bought the new one.

Mike brought me across the street to the used car section to take a quick look before we finished the deal on the new Civic. He introduced me to Carlos, the manager of used car sales. After looking at the cars available, I decided that I didn't see anything I liked, but he was still trying to get me to fill out a credit report application even though I repeatedly refused because I didn't see a car that I wanted. I stood up to shake his hand and leave and asked him to let me know if he found a car that better fit what I had in mind. I told him thanks for the offer and shook his hand. He replied, "There is no offer here buddy" and said "you accomplished nothing by walking through that door today."

I went back accross the street feeling completely insulted. I found Jonathan and told him that Carlos was so rude to me that I was taking my business elsewere. In the middle of my sentence, some older man with gray hair (not craig) said, "dont worry Jonathan, Carlos wasnt rude." I tried to explain that I was trying to leave the used car office to buy a new 08 Civic from them.... The man cut me off again and said, "BUY A NEW CAR? YOU COULDN'T AFFORD IT!"

The sales manager Jonathan and Mike Mckenna were friendly but I would never recommend buying a car from Commonwealth Honda or Commonwealth used cars. Carlos is very rude, overly aggressive and condescending.

It only takes 1 person to make a crowd look bad.
(in this case 2 people)

My Review of Commonwealth Honda:
I visited Commonwealth today after a lengthy research process to purchase a 2008 Honda CRV EX-L with navigation. My internet request for a price on the vehicle was responded to with a very aggressive price but conspicuously did not mention the navigation system. I tried several times to get Craig, the internet sales manager on the phone and through email to verify the model he was quoting, he never responded. Today I called the dealership and spoke with a salesman who identified himself as Sam and the sales manager, Jonathan, and verified independantly with each of them that the price was for the model with navigation. I explained I was driving a great distance and wanted to be sure I wasn't wasting my time, they assured me I wasn't and that the price was for the model with navi though Jonathan said that Craig had "left out" destination costs ($635)in his price. When I got there and sat down with Sam, I was told that the quoted price was for a model without navigation. I asked why he and Jonathan both told me something different over the phone this morning, Sam insisted that he never spoke to me on the phone, that it was "Tony" whom I spoke with on the phone and that he heard "Tony" tell me his name was Sam. Not only do they lack honesty and professionalism at this dealership but apparently they also lack maturity. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone for anything.

My Review of Commonwealth Honda:
Had been researching 2008 honda civic ex coupe. Had awesome service from Jeff in sales but then the fun began. While getting prices from 5 other dealers (yes you read that correct.. only way to go) we were told yea come on up.. all set to go at 17700 for 2008 honda civic ex coupe.. So I leave work early go up and then after waiting for 20 mins for Jim the mgr to look at paperwork he comes over to my husband and myself (never introduces himself to me..who was the buyer)then they tell me no..cant do that price they would lose $500 bucks. Needless to say I walked out and bought the same car for $17700 at ATAMNIAN HONDA IN TEWKSBURY. No problem... paperwork all ready for me when I got there and was introduced to about 5 employees while there... PLEASE DO NOT GO TO COMMONWEALTH HONDA AS THEY DID THE OLD BAIT & SWITCH

My Review of Commonwealth Honda:
After we requested a quote via the internet we've been getting e-mail from them once a month, sometimes more. I have written to them a number of times and even called twice being very polite. We still get this spam e-mail annoucing sales and discounts. Even though we bought a car six months ago.

I have filled a complaint with the FTC and will be calling the Mass Attorney General in the morning.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just Finished up a Lease on a New CR-V. Everything went great and we got to take our vehicle the same day. They took care of everything, even an inspection sticker.
I am sending my brother down to see them as well

My Review of Commonwealth Honda:
This is a whopper: Today we signed P/S for a used 2007 Hoda Fit. After three hours at the dealer of filling out papers and listening to sales pitches, they tell us that the car has no title and they can not sell it until they recieve the title. Since they do not know when this might happen, we have to wait. I am sorry but how can a dealer put a car out for sale knowing that they have no title to the car?

I asked if they could return our deposit or get us a loaner until the title came in. Low and behold the business manager or whomever she is gets all pissy and says OF COURSE YOU CAN HAVE YOUR MONEY BACK RIGHT AWAY!. She charges out of the room. My God what the hell is going on? What happened to customer service? How come I was the one that was wrong? I am spending tens of thousdand of dollars and I am the one that should be patient and wait until they have the time to get me the car. I am supposed to pay for a rent until the title comes in? How come I am wrong? I am, sorry Mr Hoda Dealer that my tens of thousands of dollars ar enot good enough for you. Why don't you hold it for me until you can get your act together?
