My Review of Lexus of Watertown:
I've been looking at Lexus for a while. I'm more of an indecisive customer. When I first went into Lexus of Watertown, it was pretty obvious I was just 'kicking the tires.' Adam was my salesperson and he really made me feel at ease. Four visits later, and about 6 test drives later, I finally made the purchase. I can say that the process went as smooth as it could be. I ran into a bump with the financing, but they helped me right through it and had more than one option available to me. Thank you for the great service!

My Review of Lexus of Watertown:
I went to Lexus of Watertown having heard mixed reviews, but I can honestly say that they made my car buying experience far more pleasant than any I had previously encountered. Their customer service was great, and I was able to quickly find a vehicle from their large selection that both suited my needs and matched my price range. The staff is very low pressure, but still extremely helpful, which made my experience much more comfortable.

My Review of Lexus of Watertown:
A little surprised to read some of the subpar reviews about this dealer. Can't dismiss other experiences, ours was actually pretty good.

This was our first luxury vehicle. Previously owned Accords and Camrys. Not sure we could stomach the extra $$$ for a Lexus, but we went to check it out anyways. We did all our research online, knew the Edmunds invoice price, TMV, incentives, etc. It would be a stretch, but we wanted to see how close to our target price we could get...and based on our phone conversations with other dealers and what we've read on different forums, our number was very low.

Ed and Tom sold us the car. Ed was patient with us as we considered three different vehicles over three separate visits. No pressure; no annoying phone calls in between visits. Tom worked with us during the negotiations. We were pretty upfront about our budget and asked how close he could come. Did the whole back and forth, "I can't be believe I'm doing this" bit to try to push our number up. You can't fault the guy. It's his job to make as much as he can. We didn't have to buy a car and weren't wedded to the Lexus so were prepared to go home to consider our options further. But in the end, Tom and Ed gave us phenomenal value on our old Camry (1997) and brought the price down to the figure we needed.

Ed closed the deal and delivered the vehicle with panache, even returning our old plates for us. Overall, this was a great sales experience. The salesmanship was expected, but with Tom and Ed, we did not experience the lies and dishonesty others did.

Did not rate "Customer Service" and "Quality of Work." While Tom and Ed's "service" was excellent, we reserve these categories for a future review of the Service department.

My Review of Lexus of Watertown:
An absolutely disgusting experience with this dealership. It has been nearly 8 years since I bought a car but I tried to keep an open mind going into my purchase.

I approached them via the internet. To make a long story short, the internet sales person, Emma, asked me to come in for a second time to discuss pricing with Kip, the sales person. Emma had quoted me pricing over the phone that was very much in line with my price range. We actually spoke about a specific vehicle.

When I came back in that second time, I was introduce to Kip. When I mentioned that Emma told me that he would be "able to work with me", he said, "I don't know what Emma was talking about. I'll sell you the car for this ($5,000 more than Emma had quoted over the phone). Ofcourse, he couldn't look me in the eye as he perused other car listings, eventually presenting me with a super high mileage car "within my price range."

He did find it in his power to look me in the eye and say, "what makes you think you can get this car for what YOU say Emma quoted? I don't care what the economy is like."

I just walked out.

In the end, Emma did her job: get me back in there at all costs. Kip, unfortunately, couldn't close me.

Stay away from these guys. Even the lot (despite the Lexus name) feels like a shady used car dealership.

My Review of Lexus of Watertown:
I chose this dealership because of convinient location. I was looking for ES 09. I wasn't dissapointed, sales guys worked really hard to help me. I was a real pain in neck ( it took me an hour to make a choice) but they was really patient. I would say that my overall experience was A-.

My Review of Lexus of Watertown:
Perfect customer service and friendly sales clerks. It was hard to make final decision but sales person was patient. I didn't feel any pressure and they let me to take 4 test drives on 3 different vehicles. When I came on scheduled time to pick my car they told me that I have to wait because some paper work wasn't done. I was just little frustrated.
Anyway, my overall experience was B+. I would defiantly recommend Lexus dealership in Watertown.

My Review of Lexus of Watertown:
I have purchased five Lexus from Lexus of Watertown. Tom Majeski is the sales manager. Were more people throughout the industry like Tom, my sense is the industry would be in far better shape than it is. Over the course of what must be some fifteen years, Tom has always been the same: prepared, informed, pro-active, fair, a pleasure to deal with, and above and beyond everything a man of high ethics and principles who can be counted on. The wonderful attributes of Lexus are well documented. It is time to go on the record and document Tom Majeski's attributes as well.

My Review of Lexus of Watertown:
Sales department: I didn't feel any pressure, there was some price issue but it was solved after manager approved additional discount.

Price: Average price. I bet you can find better deal if you travel far from Boston.

Customer service: Again, I didn't feel pressure. Sales person explained all financing opportunities.

Quality of work: It took time to evaluate my trade-in.

Dealership itself: Huge showroom and convinient location. I saw at least 7-8 vehicles before I made my choice.
