My Review of Competition Infiniti:
During a routine oil change service visit, Competition Infinti stripped the thread of the oil drain plug on my 2003 Infiniti FX45. I discovered this after I had moved to another state where the local dealer notified me of the damage.
My new Infiniti dealer have been able to repair the damage for several oil change visits since the damage was inflicted by Competition Infiniti. This past week, my local dealer informed me that it was no longer possible to repair the damage.
Competition Infiniti has refused to pay for the damage they have caused. I have tried Infiniti's corporate comsumer affairs office, but they did very little to thelp. The service manager at Competittion Infiniti in Smithtown, Long Island NY (His name is Nick) had told Infiniti's consumer affairs that they would not pay because it was 14 months since they damaged the vehicle.
Competition Infiniti has not responded to me when I have contacted them in writing regarding this problem.
I can not accept that a dealer refuses to pay for damage they have caused, simply because it is 14 months since they caused it. I have the service record for my vehicle with a statement from my new dealer that clearly shows that the damage was caused by Competition Infiniti.
