My experience isn't yet over but has been excellent with their Service Dept and overall manager Charles, and his advisors. On our family 1 mo. vacation to FL and back with three Goldens a roof carrier and $7k worth of ebikes in tow, we lost nearly full driver controls / nannies with limited use; and alarms blaring in a thunderstorm in Jackson. We made it a little further with everything going sideways electronically and made it to the hotel. The wife's BMW x5 hybrid had a failure of the BCU (body control unit) and died as soon as it was turned off and these guys were exceptional with follow up and getting us something capable of getting us all home. It was stressful but they couldn't have helped more. FIVE STARS. Now BMW NA is helping us get it fixed and seeing about delivery to NJ! More
My experience at Critz Mercedes Service Department was not what I expected. There were some inconsistencies with pricing—I received one quote verbally, a different one via text, and then another final amount, which was a bit confusing. I was also under the impression that diagnostic fees might be applied toward the repair, but that was not clearly explained upfront. I later learned that applying those fees is at the advisor’s discretion. While I was offered a small discount, I still left feeling uncertain about the overall process. I also asked to speak with John, the service manager, but he did not come out instead spoke to Drew over the phone. Overall, I believe clearer communication and consistency would greatly improve the customer experience. More
Horrible experience. I purchased their most expensive CPO BMW in inventory at the time. It was said to be receiving 4 new tires when we negotiated a price. It was d I purchased their most expensive CPO BMW in inventory at the time. It was said to be receiving 4 new tires when we negotiated a price. It was delivered to me with 4 tires within 30-50% of their useful life remaining, one of which had a nail in it. The rear view mirror cap was hanging off of the car. The alignment was off. How this passed as CPO BMW M5 is beyond me. They overcharged me for SC sales tax. They tried to mark up the BMW advertised interest rate while I have perfect credit - actually fought and won this battle. I will say that the Sales person was great to deal with, genuine car enthusiast. His management and ownership, not so much. They wouldn't even speak to me after multiple escalation requests. They prioritized the bottom line over doing the right thing and lost a long term repeat customer. They then had the audacity to ask me to lose $12k on the car a few weeks after purchasing it to buy a different car from them, which I obviously did not do. Would not recommend. Will be doing my business with Hilton Head BMW going forward. More
I stopped in the dealership to look at a GMC truck, and was greeted by Mark Shepard. I will have to say all though I was skeptical due to shopping around other dealerships, I am more than totally satisfied was greeted by Mark Shepard. I will have to say all though I was skeptical due to shopping around other dealerships, I am more than totally satisfied with Mr. Shepards expertise and the savings was unheard of. I am now the proud owner of a loaded 2025 GMC Sierra. In fact, everyone I came in contact with at Critz is passionate about customer satisfaction. The purchase was done in a thorough and timely manner. I advise everyone in the market for a vehicle, to Go See Critz. I Love My GMC, thanks Critz. More
This has been by far the worst experience i have had buying a car. I bought a 2020 Rav4 over the net and had delivered to SC. Found that the tire well was filled with water, I paid to have it fix out of buying a car. I bought a 2020 Rav4 over the net and had delivered to SC. Found that the tire well was filled with water, I paid to have it fix out of pocket due to we get constant thounder storms here. The local Toyota dealer told me that the roof rails leaked and is an on going issue with Rav4. Contacted Critz and they said to send the invoice to be viewed. I cannot get anyone at Critz to respond to me. Not even to say that they will not pay for it. They have totally ignored me, even after leaving mutiply messages with different pople there. They donnot have the integregty to at least contact me and say that they will not pay. After they have your money you become a nobody to Critz. More
Ask for Philip! I was in the market for a very specific model used car which I happened to find online at Critz BMW. Critz is located about 450 miles away from me in another state and to say I bit nervous about buying a car that I could not see in person first was an understatement, but I decided to reach out to Critz BMw anyways and am happy I did. I was contacted the following morning by Philip Ellison. I expressed my concerns about buying a used car over the phone that I could not see in person first. Philip went above and beyond to try and help alleviate my concerns. You can tell that Philip is not only a car person himself but a straight shooter too. Not only did he take the time to send me over a dozen high resolution photos but also sent me several detailed videos in which he was sure to point all the minor imperfections (which were all normal things one would expect on a used car). The price negotiations were painless, without all the unnecessary games that a lot of car dealerships try which I truly appreciated. We were easily able to reach an agreement on price within 30 minutes. I decided to fly to Savannah and drive the car home instead of having the car transported to me as l wanted to see and drive it before paying for it and Philip with kind of enough to personally come pick me and my son at the airport in person. Once we got to the dealership, you could see that the car was detailed to perfection. Not a single water spot or speck of dust anywhere and it was exact as described oy Philip. He even went as far as to stored inside to keep the weather and element from messing up the detail job before I arrived. He could tell I was excited about buying the car which he said got him excited about having the car ready for me. After a quick test drive, we sat down to complete the necessary paperwork with Nikki in the finance department. In my 30+ years of buying and leasing cars, this was probably the quickest and nicest time! have had to spend with a finance manager in all my car buying experiences. Both Philip and Nikki reviewed some of the various protection plans that they had available for me, but I never felt as if they were being pushy or trying to hard sell me. Being over 50+ years old, I can honestly say that this was the most pleasant car buying experiences I have every had and want to personally thank Philip for making it so easy and pleasant. Even though Critz is 450 miles away from me, I will look at buying from them again when the time comes and would highly recommend that if you are looking to buy from Critz in Savannah, GA, that you ask for Philip. I bought a new GMC Sierra Denali approximately one year ago. I have been trying to get my vehicle in for an electric issue that involves all 4 windows going down at odd hours and all 4 doors unlocking. My tailgate falls open while driving. I'm a disabled Vietnam veteran and I can't be without a dependable vehicle. This has been going on since last September and I still can't get the vehicle repaired. I'm into May and still no word on when I can get a loaner vehicle. I can't be without transportation even though I have to take everything out of my Denali before leaving the vehicle unattended.
