My Review Of DCH Gardena Honda:
Worst car buying experience ever!!!! I been buying cars left and right for myself and friends and had never been treated like this guy Mike had treated us today. Was planning on buying a 2013 Honda Civic Si from DCH Gardena Honda, we sat down to fine tune the numbers before sign away and enjoying the experience of buying a new car when the sales person come back at 6.99% APR and Full MSRP, Plus and an additional $750 for Gap insurance…. I was in shock!!!, I ask him 3 X times if that was the best deal? He answer Yes!!!… LIAR!!!! (I thought in my head) Since I did my homework I knew that this model is offering 1.9 APR for 60 months till April, 30th 2013 and I called before hand and talk with the finance department to see of I qualify (which I did). I told him to go back and talk to his manager and review the numbers. I ask him for a $1,000 off selling price as to be fair, since base on www.Truecar.com price the estimating savings should be $1,607 off according to what the market is paying…. So we waited… Is it me or dealerships believe that people are idiots or they really don’t care about technology and are going to let all there potential customers walk away…. A sales guy come back and tells me the Mike the Manager is going to honor or give me a 1.9 APR and discount $100 of the GAP insurance…. I looked at him and said really!!! What about the price???? I ask to talk with Mike. He said no, he won’t come out here to talk to you…I said ok, so if you can’t help me then what do I do? I got up and stared walking to the door, and I thought... I spend the whole afternoon, working tired, hungry, and then I was planning on taking this new car home, but no I can’t since Mike can’t get his but out of his seat….so I walk up to his counter and I said “you know let’s make a deal, take 1k off and lets all go home happy” he said “NO” and I said “why?” He said “why should I?” I showed him the pricing on the Truecar.com and he didn’t even care, I repeated “let’s make a deal”, He replied, “Why should I, if can sale it for more!” I was in shock!!! Couldn’t believe it… as a local resident of Gardena he didn’t even care. He didn’t even ask me to meet him half way or even a better price, the best part is he didn’t even seem to care that I was talking to him. I will never again bring my Odyssey, my 2011 and 2001 Accord to this dealership.
