Went to the Express Service for a simple oil change on my 2013 BMW X5. I was, in fact, wrong... 1 hour and 15 minutes after my car went into the bay and one hour and 30 minutes after I arrived there (a gentleman waiting in the lounge with me had his car go in at roughly the same time and had the same complaint on time) I finally had the car ready. Thank goodness I had nowhere to be or other commitments after lunch or I would have been screwed. The garage appeared to be fully staffed and with one bay open there were staff members sitting on chairs waiting for the next customer. I could see three people working on my car. At any rate, this is what I was presented: Oil change done, needed a new oil filter, needed a new air filter, transmission fluid was dirty, brake fluid was dirty and the left control arm was faulty. You can imagine my alarm as this was a BWM Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle and this was its first oil change, 5000 miles after I acquired the vehicle. Nothing should have been faulty. There was no offer to change the oil filter. Or the air filter. Which I would have done. I took this back to my local garage the next week (I am not from Winona) - an independent garage that is unscrupulous when it comes to honesty and integrity. First of all, they would have had the oil changed in 20 minutes. They stood in amazement when I told them how long it took at Dahl. I wanted them to check over the vehicle to backstop what was being said and if that were the case I'd have taken it back to the dealer from where I purchased it asking a lot of questions. Here's what they said: * Air filter was absolutely clean and they showed me as such - no need for a new one for at least another 5K miles. Dahl never showed me the air filter - SOP for every other place I've had a car serviced and replacement was recommended. I should have asked to see it and I'll accept that. * Oil filter should have been changed as a part of the oil change process. Oil change = new oil filter. My garage could not believe it wasn't changed. Going another 5K miles with an old filter could have posed a major risk to the engine. * Transmission fluid and brake fluid - clean. No need to flush or for new whatsoever. My garage didn't therefore do so. They could have at a considerable charge but they said there was no need to. * Control arm was absolutely fine - no issues. They just charged me for the oil filter because that's all that was needed. The words they had to say about Dahl were "incompetent" and "fraudulent". Oh, also, when I got my car back from Dahl they were using the actual key instead of the fob (which I gave them) for push-button access and ignition, for some reason. And the clock was set at 24 hour time instead of 12 hour time. A BMW is not an exotic vehicle to service by any means - per my garage they're actually easier than a lot of American and Asian cars because they're very intuitive and service-friendly, particulary one that is 12 years old. I will never bring my car back to Dahl Express nor would I recommend anyone else do so. If I could leave a zero-star review I would. More

After we purchased the car, guess what they got in, that’s right, they lied to us, we now see what we ordered at several different dealers. They commented they would make it right, that’s right we are still waiting for that to happen. Would not recommend, them anymore , sad that they think out right lies are ok! More

Thomas went above and beyond to find me a Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid after my car was totaled. Was very patient with me whike wauri g for deluvery. My Sales team contact Thomas Gary even worked with me to get custom wheels installed before I took possession of the new vehicle and then gave me credit for the new factory rims and tires so I didn’t have to bother with the extras. The entire staff at Dahl was totally professional and a pleasure to work with. 10/10 recommend!! More
