My chevy 1500 silverado in 2022 had a airbag recall. They replaced the airbag, but the light was still on. They said it is not part of the recall to check the system, and wanted me to pay over $150 to They replaced the airbag, but the light was still on. I called the dealer Quick in Bangor where i purchased the truck in 2010 they said it is part the recall and they would have completed the recall at no extra costs. When I went to take delivery, the black vehicle had a mark (scratch) on the passenger sliding door, which was a white mark that was very visible. It continued less noticeably, but for quite a way toward the back of the vehicle. This should not have been missed when they were prepping the vehicle. They were not being rushed. When I went back 3 days later, I called and asked them to pick me up in their courtesy van. They came right along. However, when I arrived at the dealer, the vehicle was again not ready. It was covered in snow and ice and had to be taken in to be washed and dried. Another twenty minutes of my time wasted. These are details that should not be overlooked when delivering a new vehicle. Ultimately, I took the vehicle and the buffing job they did was good. More
