CAME IN FOR SERVICE, LEFT WITH A BRAND NEW COROLLA! Decided to try our local dealership after hearing such good things about Jimmy Jones. Brought my 13 Corolla in for service, and since I'm near the end Decided to try our local dealership after hearing such good things about Jimmy Jones. Brought my 13 Corolla in for service, and since I'm near the end of my lease, asked about my options. After a lovely conversation with Jimmy Jones, and terrific help from Lorinda and Faye, I walked out with a new 15 Corolla. Really happy about the new ownership of the dealership since I was driving to Columbia for service. I didn't feel pressured at all, and everyone was super nice and friendly. So glad to have a trustworthy Toyota dealer back in Orangeburg. I will absolutely recommend!!! More

I've been to friendlier gas stations My Prius broke down suddenly on I-26 and I got it towed to O'burg because it was closer than Columbia. The lady at service desk seemed pretty ind My Prius broke down suddenly on I-26 and I got it towed to O'burg because it was closer than Columbia. The lady at service desk seemed pretty indifferent. I know Toyota has millions of customers worldwide, but when one of those customers has just stumbled in from the rain due to the failure of a Toyota product, a smile never hurts. Service centers in other towns go through the motions of appearing to care (e.g. welcoming, showing concern, pointing out the coffee machine, inviting the customer to make themselves comfortable, advising them of a timeline for the completion of service or at least an idea of when a mechanic might get around to popping the hood). At O'burg, it's left to the customer to do all this for himself. I asked a couple times over the course of an hour when I might expect to at least hear from the garage. The lady seemed really inconvenienced by this and finally suggested I talk to the service manager. The service manager to his credit was pretty up front. He said it was a busy day and I wouldn't likely have a timeline for at least a few hours. Fair enough, since I was a 'drop in' customer and they were obviously busy. I just wish I'd known this upon arrival, as I could've made arrangements for rescue much sooner. When I picked up the car two days later, I asked the service mgr what caused the problem. He told me I should ask the specialist mechanic. When I asked him, he grumbled something about a 'known issue,' which didn't really answer my question. I asked if there was anything I should know for future driving practices, anything that would help future calamities from occurring. He looked at me with the same disdain as the front desk lady, as though I were trying to undermine his authority. "Nope," he replied bluntly. If I have any other breakdowns on the I-26 corridor, God forbid, I'll just push the xxxx thing to Columbia. More
