I live 2 hours away... I explained to the salesman on Friday night (10/26/2010 ) via the telephone that I was looking to purchase the 2010 Nissan Altima. Advertised online for $16,900.00 with $2,000 do Friday night (10/26/2010 ) via the telephone that I was looking to purchase the 2010 Nissan Altima. Advertised online for $16,900.00 with $2,000 down or equal trade in.... I advised him I had a check I can write for up to $20,000.00 and was trading in a 2003 Eclipse.... I asked him if we can make the deal... He said let me call you back.. He called me back and said YES we can make the deal.. I advised him I would be down there ( 2 hour drive ) the first thing in the morning.... I got down there and he re-calculated the numbers and said the selling price with my trade in is ($20,999.00)... That was $999.00 more than what he verbally agreed to over the phone.... I would suggest this dealership take a class on integrity and honesty... More
