Heater core replacement I usually don’t have a problem with the service at DeNooyer but a slight problem occurred with my last service. I brought my 2017 Equinox in for a oil I usually don’t have a problem with the service at DeNooyer but a slight problem occurred with my last service. I brought my 2017 Equinox in for a oil change, tire rotation and state inspection. While there the service tech noticed that I had a problem with the heater core. We made arrangements to have it repaired and they obtained a loaner car for me from Hertz. When the car was repaired the next day I picked it up. The rep in the service department told me that the tech was unable to do the state inspection because the battery was disconnected. When I went to my car I found that they didn’t even clean the floor mats with antifreeze on them I had to take them out myself and clean them. I will have to drive the car for about 50 miles so that I can have the car inspected. More
Negative service experience Have a loose driver's seat on my 2017 Chevy Malibu, which has been a problem before. Dropped the car off at 7:15am. Around 4pm, noticed that dealer Have a loose driver's seat on my 2017 Chevy Malibu, which has been a problem before. Dropped the car off at 7:15am. Around 4pm, noticed that dealer did not call or email with a status update on the vehicle, which I found rather strange. I proactively called the dealership and was told by service department that there is nothing wrong with the driver's seat, although the seat shifts around tight corners and higher rates of speed. I was told that "if it gets worse, bring it back in." The fact that I am driving around with a driver's seat that is moving around is a safely issue and I am not fully confident in the seat's integrity in the event of a collision. The dealer was also supposed to do a multi point vehicle inspection as well. I don't think this was done, as I was not given any documentation regarding a multi point vehicle inspection. When I picked up my car, no one from service department discussed the service on the vehicle. Just got my keys from the cashier and that was it. Not a happy camper here. More
