Truck service & engine light. We had a scheduled maintenance service & an engine light on. They went above and beyond the normal. Two days later we were getting ready to connect to our 5th wheel when another engine light came on. Dominic rescued us before then rescued us again. Totally separate issues. He got us in and out the second time in a couple hours. Thank you Dennis Dillon. More

Still waiting We brought our vehicle in for a simple recall on the ignition. Scheduled an appointment ahead of time for 10 am. Also asked them to reattach an A pill We brought our vehicle in for a simple recall on the ignition. Scheduled an appointment ahead of time for 10 am. Also asked them to reattach an A pillar cover on the exterior (needed a small bolt size of which I could not seem to locate. They called us back at 3 pm to come pick up our vehicle. Apparently the car wouldn't start which had not happened before (ignition recall relates to key coming out nothing in starting mechanism) turns out the battery was beyond dead which still blows my mind but not a big deal. However, much to my amazement, in the 5 hours it was left with them they simply turned the car on an pulled on the key to see if it came out while in drive, ordered the part and looked at reattachin the a pillar cover, which they said would cost $100 to replace, well I finally found that bolt for 69 cents an it looks good as new... I don't know about most people but if that's all I did in 5 hours at my job, I would be fired no questions asked. We were given a 3-5 day window on when parts should be there. It's now 2.5 weeks later. We have called twice both times told they will contact us when they receive it. I typically do not leave reviews of places unless they really leave a lasting impression on me, this was one of them and in a negative way. I have read many reviews of them and on their site there is not a place to even write a review only viewing them. Leads me to believe their employees were the ones writing the reviews due to the fact there is no possible way we went to the same place. Needless to say after the work has been completed I will be staying away from Dennis Dillon. More
Improperly installed my oil plug, leaked all over my garage. They fixed it but the next oil change I brought to Einsteins and they noticed the plug threads were cross threaded(They showed it to me). Went in to have Smart Glass fixed. They took two hours to diagnose the problem and try to fix it. Only charged me for one hour. Concluded that I would need to replace module and the module is connected to diagnose the problem and try to fix it. Only charged me for one hour. Concluded that I would need to replace module and the module is connected to the regulator, $500 to 700. Lived with problem for quite a while. Was in a local tire shop and asked them if they had any ideas. They brought up a Service Bulletin on the problem and had it fixed in 20 minutes and didn't even charge me. No parts were even needed. Went back to Dennis Dillon in Caldwell and they won't even give me an apology let alone return my money. More
I have been totally ripped off by the service dept. at Dennis Dillon Caldwell ID. In March 2010 my engine light was on. They diagnosed it as a cam sensor & put a new one in. Cost $239. This time they told me I had a small leak & needed a smoke test. I made an appointment on 6/8/201o. I came at the appt. time & sat & sat for over a 1/2 hour before they took my car in. One hour after they took it in to the shop Ray came out & told me that there was something seriously wrong with my spark plug ignition. Which they didn't even tell me about until they had it torn apart, & said it was going to cost me $1,080. They never even did the smoke test, & didn't tell me about the other problem until after the car was torn apart. I told them I didn't have the money to do that at this time. I called my husband & he told them to put the car back the way it was. By the way it was running smooth with no problems when I went in. For them to just tear it apart & put it back together it cost me $152.40. I told Ray that I hoped it ran as good as when I came in. He promised me it would. Well, it didn't. At the first stop light I had to stop at it didn't idol right. I could tell there was a serious problem. Now I am afraid to drive it. I think this company is out to make money at the customer's expense. I am extremely frustrated, & I am going to the CEO if I have to, the BBB & a letter to the editor of the local newspaper if I have to. This service dept. in Caldwell ID is a big rip-off, & I would not recommend them to anyone. Sharon S. Villines More
