I am posting this detailed review to warn others about my extremely negative experience with the service department at Desert 215 Service Department in Las Vegas. This is not about a factory defect that my extremely negative experience with the service department at Desert 215 Service Department in Las Vegas. This is not about a factory defect that my car had or Jeep warranty issue—this is 100% due to the dealership’s negligence, rudeness, lack of transparency, and outright dangerous incompetence. It started with Invoice #148414. My Jeep was having multiple systems not responding. The technician dismissed proper diagnostics and insisted it was likely the battery, which would “clear all codes” anyway. I was literally told, “I doubt it is a battery. Drive around and check.” Two days later, the vehicle failed completely on the highway—putting my life at serious risk. It had to be towed back (Invoice #148593). After they “fixed” it the first time and released it as safe, it broke down again due to their shoddy work. When I returned, I specifically requested that the repair order document EVERYTHING the technician touched, disassembled, or worked on. This request was completely ignored. I wasn’t told the bumper had been removed—let alone that it was damaged during their service and not fully attached. On February 18, when I brought it back for proper bumper reinstallation, staff initially lied and said the bumper hadn’t been removed at all. Saying “This is your car, you better know what happened to it”. Only after I showed proof did they “check with the technician” and admit it had been. Invoice #153143 lists “adjust front fascia” as done—but I never authorized any paint work, touch-ups, or anything beyond reinstalling the bumper correctly. It was still installed wrong afterward. More they did a horrible touch up work on my ideal exterior with mismatched color as well as spray over the headlight. The electrical problems persist to this day as well.I was told to come back on a Wednesday for a “specialist,” only to be turned away because the specialist “only works early mornings.” Then they sent me to a collision center to fix THEIR damage—at my inconvenience. The collision center refused the job, so I had to find and a specialized repair shop myself (invoice: $2,774.39). Because of the unsafe electrical failures and the risk of the bumper coming loose (potentially flying off and causing an accident or damaging property/clients’ tools I transport for work), as well as driving back and forward to repair my car again and again after they damage it, I had to stop driving the vehicle entirely. This caused me to lose a $4,500 project. The diminished value of the vehicle from all this mishandling is at least $1,500. I no longer trust the safety or condition of this vehicle. They concealed what was actually done (no documentation of parts removed/touched), ignored my direct requests for transparency, lied about work performed, endangered me and my family, and forced me to chase repairs for THEIR mistakes. The attitude has been rude and dismissive throughout—no accountability, no apologies. This is unacceptable for any dealership, especially one handling safety-critical repairs. Do not trust Desert 215 Service Department in Las Vegas with your car—go elsewhere in Las Vegas (there are better options). Save yourself the headache, risk, and money. Management outright refused full compensation. They offered only a partial repair (which doesn’t address lost income, diminished value, or even full repair) — basically admitting fault but refusing to make it right. This shows complete lack of responsibility. More
My husband and I visited Desert 215 Superstore on Saturday, May 31st to look at a Ram truck he had his eye on. We went back on Tuesday, June 3rd, and that’s when we met Jasmine. From the moment she s Saturday, May 31st to look at a Ram truck he had his eye on. We went back on Tuesday, June 3rd, and that’s when we met Jasmine. From the moment she saw us, she greeted us with a warm smile and took us straight to the truck my husband was interested in. Even though Jasmine was new to the team, she did an absolutely wonderful job! She was professional, kind, and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Thanks to her help, we ended up purchasing the truck that same day! Since the purchase, we’ve had a few minor issues with the vehicle, but every time I’ve reached out to Jasmine, she’s responded quickly and gone above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Her follow-up and service have truly been top-notch. So far, so good! Thank you, Jasmine, for your excellent customer service — we really appreciate you! More
I went to this dealership to look at a few cars and it turned out two of them were just about the same price so I said to the salesman How about this other car and he made a comment saying oh well that on turned out two of them were just about the same price so I said to the salesman How about this other car and he made a comment saying oh well that one’s 35,000 like I couldn’t afford it. So I asked him OK what’s the lowest cash price out the door he would go. He told me they didn’t do that there. I said well can you ask the manager and he said no because he won’t do it he said they won’t go even a penny less I was totally baffled by this, I said you’re not even doing good customer service he said to me it’s not about customer service hello since when are things not about customer service totally unbelievable More
Second vehicle purchase from desert 215 has been a nightmare. I haven't received my plates and trade in isnt paid for as part of the deal. I still need to remove parts and plates from trade in. Dealer nightmare. I haven't received my plates and trade in isnt paid for as part of the deal. I still need to remove parts and plates from trade in. Dealership messed up on the deal on their end, now they're forking me with a 20k down payment after the contract was signed with 0 down. I'm not pleased with the customer service here. The issue still isn't resolved. More
Service Writer James Cruz is worthless. Took Ram in for standard oil/filter, tire rotation, and diagnosis of shock oil leak and exhaust manifold ticking. Service writer was James Cruz. Kep Took Ram in for standard oil/filter, tire rotation, and diagnosis of shock oil leak and exhaust manifold ticking. Service writer was James Cruz. Kept my truck 5 days and didn't do any service. Diagnosed shock needed replaced and exhaust manifold would be warranty repair. Told me parts ordered but would take 2 months, and come pick up truck. No work done at all in 5 days, no paperwork and no charge. It has been 3 months with no contact. Numerous messages left for James Cruz in service with no return calls. Wrote email to service mgr. and no response. Then found out James Cruz closed out work order as if work was done and reported work completed to RAM warranty. More
James Crews ordered the wrong part so I had to bring it back and this time guarantee me it would be fixed in 1 day on 2nd day he still never touched it. James Crews didn't even call to tell me they hadn't back and this time guarantee me it would be fixed in 1 day on 2nd day he still never touched it. James Crews didn't even call to tell me they hadn't even started. I took off work specifically for this and when I called he said for me just to tell the insurance company to rent me a car. He didn't care one bit how I lost money by taking off for nothing. More
I recently purchased a Jeep Wrangler and while the customer service during the purchase of my vehicle was great- my after purchase experience has been horrendous. My Jeep came with a safe attached to customer service during the purchase of my vehicle was great- my after purchase experience has been horrendous. My Jeep came with a safe attached to the trunk, but I didn’t get the keys to it right away. I was told I would get them once the dealership got the keys from the previous owner. I kept following up weekly with my sales rep and the manager Mike whom I left voicemails for, but he never returned my phone calls. I called several times over the span of a month and attempted to talk to multiple managers in hopes of getting help with the keys to the safe and I finally spoke with Josh who told me to make an appointment with the service department and they would have a locksmith rekey the safe for me. I arrive at my scheduled appointment time and the service department was unable to rekey the safe because the lock smith wasn’t available. The service department was also completely unaware of the whole situation and needed paperwork that neither Mike nor Josh had sent them in order to even have the keys made. I’m still waiting on the keys and it’s been 7 weeks since I purchased my vehicle, so, I currently have this safe attached to my car door that I can’t access and that takes up a lot of space in my trunk. I wouldn’t have purchased my vehicle from this dealership knowing that they have no respect or consideration for their customers once the sale is complete. More
Bought a 2021 Ranger Lariat from them and had it shipped to Edmond Oklahoma. A week or so after delivery, the cruise control went inop. Desert 215 stood behind their 60 day, 3,000 mile warranty and the prob to Edmond Oklahoma. A week or so after delivery, the cruise control went inop. Desert 215 stood behind their 60 day, 3,000 mile warranty and the problem was fixed at a local Ford dealer. These are good folks. Thanks especially to Joe Sanchez in Sales and Derek Davis in Service. IMO, Lithia is a first class operation. I am watching their stock. More
