Going through the process of getting approval was good, a little timely, and little more to it than what the app says. But overall it was good. Overall very happy with everything and the purchase. From answering all my questions to walking me through the paperwork, Nick ensured that I felt informed and confident every step of the way. What could have been a nerve-wracking process turned into a pleasant experience thanks to his professionalism and friendly approach. If you’re in the market for a new car and want someone who genuinely cares about making things easy for you, I highly recommend reaching out to Nick at Drivetime on Beechmont! More

Beware not a true Auto Retailer Where to begin…I decided to utilize social media other traditional outreach efforts to family, friends, press, elected representatives, law enforcemen Where to begin…I decided to utilize social media other traditional outreach efforts to family, friends, press, elected representatives, law enforcement and regulatory officials to document my horrific experience with Drivetime and Bridgecrest Acceptance Corporation (DTB). They hide the that DTB is absolutely related and instruct employees on both sides to lie about that simply fact. Bridgecrest was formed two years ago as the exclusive servicing Agent for Drivetime. My wife and I bought and financed a 2017 Nissan Pathfinder with 17,000 miles. Terms including my trade in and finance rate was competitive. Plus, they are close with a dealership on Beechmont about 5 miles away. OK, a summary of my disastrous experience is as follows: ? During the closing my wife and I signed a mountain of (T&C) legal documents. It took 3-4 hours to process ? Contacted DTB and requested I be sent a paper bill/invoice…they refused ? Told their normal and preferred method of Bill payment was though auto withdrawal providing them access to my bank account, routing and ACH numbers. I don’t do that ? First payment was due on 4/1. Received notification via e-mail on 3/27 regarding pending due date ? Though Huntington Bank Bill Pay system I set-up Bridgecerst as a Payee to my account and first payment was sent on 3/29 ? Huntington Bill Pay system is excellent. Normal payments are received within 48 hours. However, Bridgecrest was not a recognized entity so a check was sent via mail. In my experience this takes 3-4 business days ? Received e-mail on 4/3 no payment had been received. I thought nothing of it thinking that the check simply had not been processed through their internal systems. HUDSON xxxxxxx! ? CRICKETS, CRICKETS, CRICKETS no communication from DTB. Perhaps I should have taken the imitative to make sure everything was in order. ? 4/18 @ 3:30 AM My wife screams out our car is being towed from our driveway (private property). ? No documentation, driver just had a repo order on an Ipad. After some back and forth the car was towed to Recovery America in West Chester 513-942-3222. No Address could be found. But West Chester is about 40 minutes away ? In total shock after a meeting at 8AM I went to the closest Huntington Branch on Red Bank Rd. to work to resolve the problem and get my car back. ? With Ben from Huntington on the line called DTB in Tempe Az and was told they never received payment, account was closed and in receivership. Huntington had clear records that a check was sent on 3/29 but it was never processed/cashed. We double checked address and account reference numbers were correct. That meant nothing to DTB ? It was explained very clearly to me by DTB that I had only two options i) Pay full amount which is about 24k today or try and buy the car back at auction ? Shoot I decided to get this resolved and transferred the needed funds from my Huntington Home equity account to my checking account for immediate payment ? Ben from Huntington told DTB they could immediately process a simple bank wire transfer in the full amount that was owed. That was rejected because DTB needs to protect themselves from money laundering thieves like me and Huntington Bank ? Huntington then offered to issue a cashier’s check and e-mail them a notarized copy. They would send overnight via certified mail from the branch. ? Response from DTB was a certified check was acceptable, but it would take DTB 14 days to process the payment and during that time it was likely my car would be sold at auction. At this point I may have lost my temper and with a burning headache used some “salty” language at the bank branch. Quick Thank You to Ben Valentine, Relationship Banker at Huntington on Red Bank Rd who sat with me for 3 hours doing everything possible to work through this problem. ? Over the next 3 days I was lied to multiple times, sent to Wal-Mart to do a check transfer of 24K (ridiculous). That did not work and ultimately made 12 different payments on my debit/credit. ? Last day I called to make payments their systems via Western Union Financial were down so they could not process payment and release the car which was now at the DTB dealership with license plates removed….why? ? Decided to cancel my planned meetings downtown and meet my wife and brother in law at the DTB dealership. When they still refused payment, I called the Anderson Twp. Sheriffs Dept and reported my car stolen. They responded immediately. ? Finally, after a couple of hours they released the car to me, but it would take DTB 6-8 weeks to process closing paperwork and issue legal title for MY vehicle. That is unacceptable Almost done, believe me this is just a snap shot documenting my experience with Drivetime and its sister company Bridgecrest. I will write a full dossier in memo form later today and create a Google Doc link to post. I am interested in talking to Cinti based attorneys; need a mechanic to find and remove a GPS devise in my F%$ing car and need some guidance in repairing our credit status. Most importantly, per my experience and research Drivetime in association with its sister company Bridgecrest is a subprime lending financial scam posed as a legitimate auto used car dealership. I welcome connection from anyone who wants/needs more details and encourage folks to: like, share, post, tweet and spread the word. I really believe DTB works to expedite these situations to steal vehicles and build inventories. What if my situation was different or I did not have the means to transfer funds from a local bank, or as my daughter Mary put it…What if you were poor? The more I think about it, the more PISSED OFF I GET!!!! So, I am not done. More
