We purchased a new Honda Ridgeline from Ed Martin Honda in Indianapolis yesterday, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Scott Miller was great to work with — very easygoing, knowledge in Indianapolis yesterday, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Scott Miller was great to work with — very easygoing, knowledgeable, and never once made us feel pressured. He genuinely wanted us to be comfortable and confident in our decision, which we really appreciated. The finance manager Dan Johnson was also excellent — very knowledgeable and willing to work with us to finalize a payment option that best suited our needs. Overall, a smooth, professional, and enjoyable buying experience. Highly recommend! Ed Martin Honda Indianapolis. More

I dont have experience with other dealers but I will say I suspect my experience is standard in the industry. Ed Martin makes buying a car pretty easy and Honda generally had great quality in their cars. Ev I suspect my experience is standard in the industry. Ed Martin makes buying a car pretty easy and Honda generally had great quality in their cars. Everyone there was super friendly and responsive. Orlando rushed through a few things but was always willing to take the time to answer questions when I had them and responded to texts right away so I appreciated that. Here are a few points to consider before you buy: 1) They WILL lowball you on a trade in. I haggled and got 1500 more than they offered but had to come down 800 from Kelly's blue book estimate. Always check your tradein's value. They will assume you are going to take their first offer and try to breeze past the haggle stage without a mention. Don't let them do this. Counter high and don't take their second offer either. Get the value you know your car is worth and don't be afraid to walk away from the trade in if you think they are offering too low. 2) You for sure will pay more than the price they list on the sticker because they'll add stuff like glass protection that is "standard" and again will try to breeze past all this without a discussion. I suspect this kind of thing is where they really make most of their money and that margins on the actual car are low. 3) For Honda generally they will 100% lie to you about gas mileage. I bought a Crv hybrid and the sticker said 34 mpg on the highway. This is an absolute lie. My first road trip I got maybe 26 mpg. How they can get away with such an obviously wrong mpg rating is beyond me. I'm sure there's some fine print in there but to be 8 points off is completely unacceptable. I bought this model because of it's generally high rating across a couple different organizations but I found myself more and more frustrated as that mpg and range in miles kept dropping lower and lower. The mpg on the sticker was a big deciding factor in sticking with Honda vs going for a more true hybrid or all electric. I will definitely think twice before choosing Honda if they don't offer better electric/hybrid models the next time I buy new. 3) Financing. Orlando told me the rates would be between 3-5% but then it ended up being over 7. I'm not entirely sure if Orlando was just uniformed or what but he should not be providing this kind of information if he doesn't know the current rates. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt here but he's also worked there for a long time so if you hear a rate that is lower that what the fed reserve has set, definitely question it. More
