B I will NEVER reccomend Eide to anyone. I had a bad experience back when it was Mckays. I thought things would've changed, so I gave it another try. Boy was I wrong!! I found my dream car at a Ford dealership and purchased an extended warranty in case things happen as they normally do. I never knew where you purchased a warranty would matter to a dealership until later on. When we first realized something was wrong with my car, my husband and I called Eide to let them know. We said our vehicle is shaking and we believe it was the front left axel. We also said we wanted the transmission looked at as that was also jumping, shifting wrong, making noises, etc. I was told by Jesse that this needed to wait until the other things are taken care of. I called again before they touched my car and let them know about my power mirrors swinging out when they shouldn't. Jesse was lying to me from the very beginning along with horrible communication. He texted me once with what was wrong with me car and once when it was done. The rest of the times I called. He never called to say hey something else popped up and here's my reccomendation or anything. Fast forward to my quote that I had questions about. Jesse told me the warranty only covered $181 in labor when they should be covering $200 and he said part of the parts weren't covered. I called my warranty company and they said they covered $200hr in labor and the OEM cost of the parts. They negotiated with the dealer for a set price. The dealer chose to make me pay the difference. When my car was fixed I asked if they did the transmission and mirrors, but Jesse said no that would be too much for the warranty and I should drive it for a few weeks then bring it back in (my warranty is done the beginning of April). I called the warranty company again to see if it can be looped into the same claim and they said yes it can they just need to amend the claim to add the items. Fast forward to the day I picked up my car (Monday). I asked if there were cars available if I were to get more work done, but Jesse said there were no cars available. I called and talked with Grace as the warranty company said I should try talking to her and she said cars were available. I asked Jesse to be taken off of my repair and for a manager to call me- this was at 11am, by 4pm I didn't get a call still. I had it at this point and was tired of the lies. I went to the dealership to pick up my car. It was nothing but arguing from Grace, Jesse (he just tried to hide, but did admit he "got it wrong"), and the manager Angie. I had the warranty company on the phone almost the whole time. They told Eide employee Grace and Angie I should not pay more than my $100 deductible. They faught back and said "we are allowed to charge our cost of parts", "its a Ford warranty, their pricing is different than ours", "we need to pay our guys and not short them, Grace said" and many other things. A dealership shouldn't be arguing over an odd $300 in parts. Yet, thats all I was met with was arguing and unprofessionalism. I was told by Grace that I'm not welcome back. I was told over and over that "its a Ford warranty not a Chrysler one". No matter the warranty you should figure it out. They did all the "legwork", so I should be happy with my outcome. When I looked at my itemized reciept it said that I said things were wrong with the vehicle that I never said were wrong with it. They didn't fix what I asked them to. They lie to their customers and treat them like crap when they confront them on their lies. The manager, Angie, and Grace even laughed under their breathe after a few of my comments. All three staff were very unprofessional, not friendly, and unwilling to help. Even my warranty company said to stay FAR AWAY from this dealership as it has many red flags. I highly DO NOT recommend this dealership for any service!!!!!!!! More
I paid $13 000 for a used Ford 250. Within 500 miles the engine failed dramatically putting myself and my children in danger. It has been seen by several mechanics and it is a $10 000 r Within 500 miles the engine failed dramatically putting myself and my children in danger. It has been seen by several mechanics and it is a $10 000 repair. Eide did not return any calls, do not even want to try to help, and are not honest about the calls they receive. They say they check the vehicles but the tire pressure was unbalanced at 75 and 35, extremely dangerous. I have experience or old and vintage cars across two continents and I have never bought such a terrible vehicle or encountered such ridiculous customer service. Don't go there. My heart is broken along with my bank account. More
Very poor management. They are nothing like McKay's was. Mother-in-law went to McKay's for all her service to her grand caravan since she bought it with no complaints. The They are nothing like McKay's was. Mother-in-law went to McKay's for all her service to her grand caravan since she bought it with no complaints. They treated her fairly, and didn't overcharge her for unnecessary work. Since Eide took over she had nothing but problems from them definitely a different management. She has recently had her van in for a new oil leak. They charged her $200 to diagnose the problem. Turned out to be a cracked filter housing from over tightening the filter. Mine you they did the last several changes, but would not take responsibility. No other shop looked at her van. They charged her over $1500 to fix their damage they caused. Then offered her a low ball trade in value to try to get a sale out of her. She is an 80 year old widow. They really took advantage of her. Very disappointed in this business. Do not even deserve a 1 star. Do not go to them.. . More
Eide's Motto of "Timesaving, Hassle Free, Fair Price" is spot on! It's been a number of years since we purchased a new vehicle. After dealing with a couple of "local" dealerships, I found a 2025 Compass o spot on! It's been a number of years since we purchased a new vehicle. After dealing with a couple of "local" dealerships, I found a 2025 Compass on Eide's website. I cold called Eide and was connected to Ethan Urbanowicz. He listened to my concerns and vehicle requirements. Ethan was extremely prompt in providing details on my desired Compass. We live 2 hours from St. Cloud and I had never processed a cars deal over the phone. Within a day, Ethan had all the details and an Out-the-door price to me. Eide had a great markdown price along with the Jeep Incentives and rebate. We arrived at Eide to find our new vehicle parked in front. Ethan, Tyler completed the sale in short order. BEST VEHICLE EXPERIENCE WE HAVE HAD IN OVER 20 YEARS!. Big shout out to Chris Carlson for a great team. Thanks again to Ethan for such a great experience! Scott Skalisky More
I would not recommend buying a car from this place. We bought a used car from them and wife test drove it when it was dark and said she would take it. Went to pick up next day and it was being detailed We bought a used car from them and wife test drove it when it was dark and said she would take it. Went to pick up next day and it was being detailed when we got there. She drove it to work and after work parked it in garage and noticed a lot of hail damage on hood and roof. Nobody there informed us of any hail damage on vehicle. She reached out to them and they said they would take care of it. Said bring it in and they would look it over and set up a time to fix it. It has been two months and haven’t heard from them. Would not recommend buying anything from them. If you do make sure you look over everything real well because they will not inform you if there’s damage. Pissed off customer! More
