I tried to get it fixed at the dealership here in Raleigh where I get all my work done, but there was no availability that lined up with her breaks. The estimate provided for the work was about $899.00. I contacted Elevation in the beginning of October and was able to get an appointment for the work to be done on 10/30. The vehicle was brought in first thing that morning and my daughter was told the work would be completed by the following day at the latest. I called the dealership on the morning of 10/31 and the person I spoke to didn't seem to have any knowledge of the work being performed, and once he got some more info, he told me it was "unthinkable" that the work could be performed in such a short timeframe but that he would check with the shop. I got a call later that same day telling me that the vehicle was being worked on and would be ready at the end of the day. However, I then received an immediate call back telling me that they had ordered the wrong part and that they would need to reschedule the service. I was told that they would call me once they had the part and then get the vehicle back in "immediately" to have the service completed. On 11/4, I got the call saying the part was in. When I asked when my daughter could bring the vehicle in, they said that their next appointment was not until mid-December. I expressed some frustration with this given the previous issue and need to reschedule due solely to their ordering the wrong part, and was then told that my daughter could bring the vehicle in on 11/12. The car was again there at the appointed time, but neither myself or my daughter received any type of update for the next two days. I finally called the shop around noon on 11/14 and spoke to the manager, who assured me that they could see the car in the shop being worked on, that the work should take "no more than four hours", and that it should be ready by the following morning at the latest. I did not receive an update that day, so I called again on the morning of 11/15 just after 9:00am. At that time, I was told that the work had not been completed as a tool they were using broke and had to be ordered, but that tool was not going to come in until 11/17. When I expressed further frustration (my daughter works two jobs in Boone and needed her car to get around at this point) and asked why I was not called the day before and informed of this issue, the representative could not give me any answer. I asked that she have the Manager contact me as I needed more information so I could decide whether I wanted the work to continue. Two hours passed and I had not been contacted, so I called and spoke to the same representative who said that the Manager was going to be calling me as soon as she was done with a customer. Another hour passed with no call, so I called again. The same representative told me that the Manager had spoken to my daughter, even though the instruction was to contact me, and that the work would be completed Monday morning. At the end of the day Monday (11/17), neither my daughter nor I had received any update. It was not until this morning that she was called and told that the work had been completed. I had told my daughter that if they contacted her to have them contact me as well, and I did receive a call from the shop. I asked for a breakdown of the charges and a total, and was told that the cost to repair was over $1400.00. When I told them that I had been quoted just over half of that amount at a Chevrolet dealership here, all the person said was "I don't know what to tell you. Not that I think it matters to anyone there, but Elevation lost a customer today. I have owned Chevrolets all my life and received nothing but top-tier service and professional care from every dealership that has ever performed work on one of my vehicles. This was the exact opposite. No communication. No consideration. Nothin More
Car Buying Experience Review Overview I closed on a used GMC pickup truck on September 5. As of today, October 31, I am still waiting for the final piece of paperwork to complete the transaction. This used GMC pickup truck on September 5. As of today, October 31, I am still waiting for the final piece of paperwork to complete the transaction. This has been, by far, the worst car-buying experience I have had in the past fifty years. Communication Issues Throughout the process, I found that no one at the dealership returned phone calls or responded to text messages as promised. General Manager Adam made several verbal promises that were not kept. While I acknowledge that I should have gotten these promises in writing, I trusted that he would honor his word. Problems with the Vehicle The truck needed a new tailgate, and Adam assured me it would be installed the next day. However, it took more than three weeks for the tailgate to be installed, and even then, it was fitted with the wrong wiring. Salesperson Derrick South told me the correct wiring harness would arrive by the end of the week, but it did not, and I received no updates about the delay. This pattern continued for seven weeks, with promised dates not being met and a lack of communication from the dealership. I repeatedly had to reach out to them for updates rather than being proactively informed. Warranty and Paperwork Issues The extended warranty that was promised was not provided, and the paperwork for the warranty that they are offering is still not in my possession. Derrick said he would mail the documents on Tuesday; it is now Friday, and I have not received them. I also spoke with the finance representative, Jason, to review the verbal agreement. Jason confirmed with Derrick South that he understood the terms, and promised to review them with Adam. He said he would call me back, but never did. Additionally, the dealership made an error with the vehicle title, creating another issue I now have to resolve. Conclusion In summary, there were numerous mistakes and a consistent lack of response throughout my experience with this dealership. I would advise others to avoid this business unless they are prepared to deal with poor communication, broken agreements, and a lack of concern for the customer's schedule. Good luck. More
Long story short: if you’re purchasing a vehicle, Elevation is leaps and bounds the best. The prices, the genuinely kind team, and the ownership set them apart. Now for the full story, for those w Elevation is leaps and bounds the best. The prices, the genuinely kind team, and the ownership set them apart. Now for the full story, for those who have the time— I owned a Hummer EV that had a rare issue: a warranty block that wasn’t disclosed when I purchased it from another dealership. After countless hours of searching, I learned there was no way to reinstate the warranty. It was a huge disappointment, since I loved the vehicle. I was on the verge of spending a large sum on an aftermarket warranty when a friend introduced me to Adam, the owner of Elevation. Adam listened to my situation and told me he had almost the exact same Hummer on his lot—only 100 fewer miles and still covered by the full manufacturer’s warranty. What happened next floored me. He simply said, “Let’s just swap Hummers.” I was in disbelief—who does that?! But that’s who Adam is: one of the kindest, most genuine people out there, simply wanting to do the right thing. Quincy, the sales associate who guided me through the process, was also outstanding. And here’s the kicker: I live three hours away and had never set foot in the dealership. Adam and his team still made it seamless. Quincy drove three hours to my house to pick up my old Hummer, then returned the next day with my new Hummer and all the paperwork ready to sign. Completely flawless from start to finish. This kind of generosity and service is unheard of in the car business. Elevation has earned a lifelong customer, and I’ll gladly share this experience with anyone looking for a vehicle. Huge thanks to Adam, Quincy, and the rest of the team at Elevation—you’ve truly set a new standard More

This dealership is like most they tell you one thing and do another!! They were suppose to fix a small scratch in paint. We called 3 times & a different excuse everytime. Promised to call back, never called one time!! The manager Pete spoke to us about how he was going to turn that dealership around through honesty & integrity!! He has a long road ahead to find honesty or Integrity. We would not recommend Elevation Chevrolet in any way!! More

Do not use this dealership! I called to make sure the vehicle was still available and Kevin Smith said it was and he would have it ready for me to view. Terrible Experience - Avoid This Dealership I wish I could give this place zero stars. My experience here has been nothing short of a nightmare. I purchased a vehicle that was delivered in disgusting co could give this place zero stars. My experience here has been nothing short of a nightmare. I purchased a vehicle that was delivered in disgusting condition—food stuck to the floor, slimy clumps in the cup holder, and overall filthy on the inside. This was shocking, but unfortunately, it got worse. The dealership claimed the vehicle had been serviced, but it turned out they falsified those records. The car had low and leaking coolant, along with missing parts that were conveniently overlooked. When I brought it back to have these issues fixed, they only changed the oil and topped off the coolant—no real repairs were done, despite their promises. To make matters worse, their lack of communication was infuriating. I was left completely in the dark throughout the process, making an already stressful situation far worse. I would strongly advise anyone to steer clear of this dealership. They are unprofessional, dishonest, and clearly have no regard for their customers. More
Waited 2 1/2 hours for an oil change and rotate tires and I had an appointment. Then got ripped off and overcharged for these services. The worst service I've ever had. I won't be going there again.
