I had a service visit which prompted a repair. First, they forgot to order the part which was discovered after I had to make calls following up. After 3 weeks, I followed up again asking to speak with the service manager and he told me the part was there but nobody called me to notify me and schedule an appointment to place it. First, I dropped my truck off the night before for a next day service. I received a text message saying sorry you missed your appointment. So, I called to let them know my car was there, surprised that I cou day service. I received a text message saying sorry you missed your appointment. So, I called to let them know my car was there, surprised that I could even get through to talk to a live person on the phone because the recording always comes on then you are sent to a mailbox that is full. Now they have my truck for a whole day, never heard from my service rep with an update; to let me know they were keeping my truck another day, even though he had promised he would keep me up to date with what was going on. I tried calling because I haven't heard from them but can't get through on the phone so I drive to the dealership and was told at that time they were busy so they may have to keep my truck another day. The next day I did not hear from my service rep so once again I can't get through by phone, so once again I drive to the dealership to find out that my truck was ready the day before. No phone call from anyone from Elk Grove Dodge to notify me of this the day before or the next day. I'm only have my radio replaced. Every experience I have had with the service department has not been a good one, from a basic oil change and up. I am not sure if the convenience of the location is worth the poor customer service received. More
