My Review of Elmhurst Toyota:
Our initial contact with Elmhurst was negative because we processed an order with a down payment for a 2008 RAV4 which was to take six weeks.
After the first week Elmhurst called us to reverify the right color. After six weeks we were told the car was not available and the saleman had quit. We were upset at that time and demanded a refund of our down payment. Jim Magnelli at this time became involved and ask us to give him alittle time to try to locate another car. He went the extra mile and located a car and had it delieved to Emhurst. The car had more options than we originally ordered but he sold it to us at the original price.

My Review of Elmhurst Toyota:
this dealership is a joke they are very rude .there internet department is terrible i had email them about a toyota truck and you get three different email and never a straight answer.they need an attitude adjustment there. and this jeff farley is really bad. he should not be allowed to come in contact with people period. he is a very rude person this dealership should be looked at by toyota corporation.no one should be treated in the manner i was treated. i guess the owner could care less toyotas sell them themselves not the rude people at this dealership

My Review of Elmhurst Toyota:
Had 2 Very bad Experiences with Elmhurst Toyota.

We bought a new prius in 2005, had taken it for regular service(oil change) in Dec 05, as soon as I drove out of the service lot, noticed a crack in the front wind screen, took it back right away. The service department wouldn't acknowledge that it happened at the dealership( as per them, there was a initial chip from earlier on ). The dealership gave me a quote of around $600 for changing the windscreen(they outsource it). I finally got it done for 350$ from an auto glass store. Ron Blum, Service Manager, dealt with the issue

The 2nd incident happened with my 96 toyota camry, took it for a brake inspection/Job, gave me a quote for around 500$ for changing the front rotor, brake pads( mentioned that calipers were frozen & thats the reason the newer pads/rotors got worn out. midway through the job, they call me in & say the calipers need to be replaced as well, adding on another 250 odd $ to the estimate. I couldn't afford to such a huge amount, asked them to put it back all together, costed me 150$ in labor just for nothing. Lesson well learnt, not to go back to Elmhurst Toyota for any kind of service jobs. & if you do , ask for all contingencies(the best & worst case scenarios). Dan Briggs(The Service Director) would not offer any kind of help (his idea of help, this is what it is, take it or leave it).
