Worthless! If you have extra cars to leave for service, so that they can maybe get to it someday when they feel like it, this is your service place. But this If you have extra cars to leave for service, so that they can maybe get to it someday when they feel like it, this is your service place. But this is our only car, and I can't just leave it with Encinitas Ford forever. I've been hoping to get service on my 2014 Ford Focus EV, to fix a slow charging problem that arrived when they replaced the HV battery a few years ago. So April 23 I scheduled an appointment for the earliest available, May 21, 8:00 am. Had the car there before 8:00 and was told I was one of the first in line for today, but they had a backlog of 20 or 30 from yesterday, and another 45 scheduled for today. 4:05 pm comes around (they close at 5:00 pm), no call received. Forman Chris Reeves said that they didn't even have time to look at it. Now bear in mind, that I had already diagnosed the problem, presenting to them the Diagnostic Test Codes and related Technical Support Bullitin identifying the problem I am having with the car. Multiple videos on the internet show the problem being fixed with a programing update in less than 9 minutes. But Encinitas Ford didn't even have time to make a 2 minute status check. I asked Reeves if he could schedule a two-hour window some day, to just look at the problem, he relied that there is no way for Encinitas Ford service to do that. I just have to leave the car with them for however long they feel like. 'Go ahead, leave the car with us, maybe we will work on it some day, LOL' is what they told me essentially. My advice, go anywhere else. More
Very disappointed with service department. Took my car in for diagnosis. Kept my car for four days. Could not find issue. Had to make another appointment. Brought my car back in. To address “s Took my car in for diagnosis. Kept my car for four days. Could not find issue. Had to make another appointment. Brought my car back in. To address “sputtering” kept car for five days to see transmission specialist. Initially, Found nothing wrong With transmission and suggested “fixing broken motor mount“ assured 75% resolution of issue. Approved to have this work done and after work was finished then was notified that “yes there is some transmission issue? Now they’re recommending a new transmission for almost $5000. After completing the work, that did not resolve initial issue. Was assured that rental car would be taken care of? Now they say if they’re taking the labor cost down to address rental car payment? I don’t know what exactly is going on, but I do not trust the information given will not using Encinitas Ford again. More
I could not be more disappointed in their service department, from top to bottom. 10 days to complete work and 3 days to diagnose a check engine light. Horrible follow-through. Check engine light sti department, from top to bottom. 10 days to complete work and 3 days to diagnose a check engine light. Horrible follow-through. Check engine light still comes on! $100 deductible turned into a $900 + $100 because of delays in service. Service team provided poor photos to Ford Warranty which meant that Ford had to manually inspect the vehicle. Took 4 extra days and only got approved when I showed up upset in the dealership. I bought the extended warranty and learned to never do that again and to never choose Encinitas Ford again. Had to call to get updates because they wouldn’t call. More
This has got to be the worst dealership experience I've ever had! Their service department makes it clear that they have NO clue what customer service is about. We have purchased 3 cars from them and I've ever had! Their service department makes it clear that they have NO clue what customer service is about. We have purchased 3 cars from them and have had serious issues with the most recent purchase and their service department could care less. They keep your car for days on end as if you don't need it, they charge diagnostic fees even if they find nothing wrong with your car and they are plain RUDE! I will NEVER go to this dealership again for any reason and I will complain to Ford Corp and to the BBB about them. I would not recommend them to anyone! Do not go to this dealership! More
Mr. Weiss is very knowledgeable when it comes to my truck. He knows the business and is up front with me when it came down to expensive repairs. He is friendly and a person I've come to consider a good truck. He knows the business and is up front with me when it came down to expensive repairs. Ms Ladytaz again. I had to bring my Tahoe back for repair for the same issue ever since I bought the car and drove it home the 1st day. Seems that their mechanics don't know what they are doing when it comes for the same issue ever since I bought the car and drove it home the 1st day. Seems that their mechanics don't know what they are doing when it comes to fixing trade in cars they sell. The owner Glen doesn't like to answer the calls. He would rather avoid conversations with his customers. Especially, when they are calling back about repairs on their cars. They only have one mechanic according to Glen that is capable of working on Chevy's, but he is not there all the time and if you need it fixed, he'll tell you to better off take your car for the weekend cause he won't and no one else will put their hands on it on the weekend if it's not a Ford. I tried calling to get a rental cause I had planned for a trip way in advance and Glen promised my car after 4 days. So the 4 days ended up being 8 days and of course he declined for my rental. Instead of dealing with him as before, this last experience, he would avoid my calls and ask for other people to let me know what he thought. So in other words, he is a coward cause he will hide from talking to you. He asked someone to tell me he would be willing to pay some of the rental fees but I didn't feel I should cause it's a problem that they haven't fixed since I drove it home when I bought my car. I expected to not pay for it at all and Scott, another manager told me the offer on the rental is good after they are doing me the favor of not charging me for the $500+ job for the repair of my Tahoe. I told them its not a favor, it's something they should have to fix and take ownership cause I had the problem come up on my way home after buying the car and it's taken them more than 3 times to try to find the problem and fix it. To not say it's a favor cause it's not. (I know everyone expects that if you buy a car and the dealer can't figure out how to fix it and the 30 day warranty has passed, the consumers shouldn't have to pay for it.) I had to deal with Scott who got very defensive and through him I found out Glen was the owner and couldn't argue into getting a free rental, but again, Glen never returned any of my calls after asking several people to ask him to when I thought he was just a manager. After knowing he was the owner, I asked Scott to ask him again to give me a call, but I never heard from him. So I regret from buying my car at this dealership. They will do anything to get you in and once you buy the car, their customer service is the worse especially from the Glen himself whom I stated is the owner according to Scott. Hopefully this time, the repair time it them 8 days to have my car in the shop helps this time. But again, the weekend didn't count cause their only mechanic wasn't there or no one else is experienced to work on my car. More
I brought my vehicle in for service and when they did not have the correct part to fix a warranty item and could not complete the work in one day, I asked how I was going to get to work and around town, they have the correct part to fix a warranty item and could not complete the work in one day, I asked how I was going to get to work and around town, they said i could come and pick the car up and then drop it back off when the part came in. No mention of giving me a loaner or renting me a car. So I asked them if they could loan me a car, to which they replied NO. Simply put!

Now that is FORD Customer Service or what? More
